I used to. Independence, control, selfishness. These are traits that I enjoyed when I was lonely. I did not anguish but rather embraced the feelings. Eventually I wanted more in life, but I do not regret my lonely past. It's made me a better person today because I am not a follower.

Yes, even though I have been with my husband for five years, I know what it is like to be lonely. He is not home a lot and when he is home it is like I don't exist. I suppose I feel this depressed agony and longing for him to want me like he once did. I don't understand how almost overnight I went from everything to nothing. I still love him though and I know he loves me, sometimes we have better days.

ah....the solace of being alone......not lonely ..but alone.....that certain painful pleasures of being lonely....its a self induced state i often times try to be........ALONE.....but alas reality surrounds me...i have an 8 year old daughter to raise.....she cries...MOMMY!! this jolts me out of my solitude. that certain painful pleasure i felt {if thats whay you want to call it} ....WAS STAYING LOCKED IN MYSELF..I TOUCHED NO ONE AND NO ONE TOUCHED ME.....thankfully i got out of it.KEEPING YOU ALL TO YOUR SELF..AND LETTING NO ONE IN IS A PURE COMPLETE ACT OF SELFISHNESS!
