I think there are a couple of possibilities here. One is that you are facing the end of something you don't want to end. That could be something like retirement, or the impending end of a relationship that you're not wanting to face. Whatever it is, you fear that it's going to be taken from you by force (the guy in the truck with the gun).
It could also be that you are in a crisis state where you have to make a decision and you are afraid of the finality of choosing. If you choose the wrong thing, you fear the mistake will be "fatal."
Did anything significant happen in 1987? Something that began in '87 that is coming to a close now?
I don't think it's really about death. Try doing progressive muscle relaxation before you go to sleep. That'll help with your neck.
But really think about what may be drawing to a close in your life. Whether you are conscious of it or not, you're feeling a lot of stress about impending changes in your life.
The Chinese symbol for crisis is also the symbol for opportunity. If you are retiring or facing a challenge that will mean the end of one means of defining yourself (the death of one aspect of who you are), it may be profoundly helpful to visualize who you want to be after the change occurs. Redefine yourself. Once you can see a new beginning hidden within the ending you fear, you no longer need to fear it.

I'd say your brain just wanted you to wake up and stop sleeping in a funky position that was cutting off circulation to your arms or something, but you had the same dream twice. So. :)
The gravesite and the closet seem to symbolize the same things: something you are afraid of facing. The year was wrong on the second gravestone so that you would pay attention to the date...pay attention "today" and not worry about the past. Because you have to take care of something NOW or later, not yesterday. Sometimes the mind tries to get us to pay attention by putting something completely wrong next to the right thing. :) Kind of like those teachers who try to get you to remember how to tie your shoes by showing you how not to.
The room darkened and you were in a coffin because you fear the lid being closed on you, you feel stifled from productivity, you feel as if you will be stopped by something before you can do what you want or need to do.
The gravestone with your name and tomorrow's date was possibly originally just you thinking in your dream how it would be weird to see your own name there, or it is just your mind trying to get you to pay attention to something you need to do...tomorrow or later. The guy in the truck with the gun was to also keep you paying attention. If he were just some guy with no weapon, he would have blended in the background and you wouldn't have paid attention to the first part of the dream as much, maybe. He ran over you for the same reason or because you fell off your bed, LOL.
Don't be scared. Just start facing up to what you want to do or what needs to be cared for.

Just a suggestion, but I would take a good examination of your life. From reading your dream and hearing what you said, this is not an average dream. The graveyard that you mentions represents those who are spiritually dead. There may be a conflict going on in your life and a direction which you are headed which is in conflict with what God wants you to do. The guy with the gun in your truck represents your meeting destiny with some kind of trouble because of some decisions you have made. You said you ended up in your bedroom with no doors or windows, just a closet. The closet represents the place of hidden things and now you are forced to face the things in your closet, your future. As for the 1987, it represents the year that you got involved in some things which eventually brought you up to this point, 20 years ago. You started sowing into your spiritual death 20 years ago. You also said, that the room became darker and you saw yourself in a coffin. The increasing darkness represents the judgement of God upon those who live in wickedness. The dream appearing twice represents confirmation or something that is firmly established. Okay, take care, but this dream is from God. Get your life right with the Lord Jesus Christ right now!!! The Lord is not playing games with you. Okay take care.

Truck
To see a truck in your dream, implies that you are overworked. You may be taking on too many tasks and responsibilities and are weighing you down. On a side note, pregnant women often dream of trucks or driving trucks. This may be a metaphor of the load they are are carrying or an expression of their changing bodies.
Graveyard
To dream that you are at a graveyard, represents the discarded aspects of yourself. It is also a fear of the unknown. Alternative, it indicates a loss or a period of mourning.
Dead
To see the dead in your dream, forewarns that you are being influenced by negative people and are hanging around the wrong crowd. You may suffer material loss. This dream may also be a way for you to resolve your feelings with those who have passed on. If you dream of a person who has died a long time ago, then it suggests that a current situation or relationship in you life resembles the quality of that deceased person. The dream may depict how you need to let this situation or relationship die and end it.
Closet
To see a closet in your dream, symbolizes something in your life that you have kept hidden. It may also signify an unveiling of previously hidden aspects of yourself, as in "coming out of the closet".
Maybe this stuff will clarify somethings for you? I do not think dreams about dying mean you will die, ive had many and im fine! Dreams are to help you see things in your life and usually come from your own subcontious. For instance you talked about Forest Lawn, maybe youve been listening to storys about dying? Did something happen you in 1987? Maybe that was a turning point in your life? I pray you dont feel haunted anymore :)

I'm no expert on the subject, but have you been eating any weird foods before you go to sleep? I think chocolate can give you weird dreams, or eating much of anything before bed, in fact. Watching shows/reading books/listening to music that might prompt dark thoughts might be the cause, or just thinking about it. Try thinking about something pleasant or relaxing as you fall asleep, and just stay relaxed. I believe tense/stress can affect your dreams for the worst, as well. If they persist, I would seek out a specialist.

you fear the future, you fear you are being forced into a future that be your end.
the stone does not have to mean your death.
the tomarrows date is an imminant obstical in your path.
the older one is a time you faced the same or like problem before and you fear its back.the grave yard is an ending ,the guy with the gun is heavy preasure forcing you into a corner,a room with no windows.
the only way out is to remember the past (the old stone)
remember the past ,prevent it from happening again.
dont let it confuse you or what ever you feel so strongly about will end.the coffin does not have to mean death ,but just an ending.
is there a relationship with some one from your past that has rekindled and is out of control?
good luck

Okay I will try to break this down for you...
Interpretation of riding in a truck:
To ride in a vehicle in a dream, foretells threatened loss or illness.
Interpretation of the graveyard:
To dream of a newly made grave, you will have to suffer for the wrongdoings of others.
To see your own grave, foretells that enemies are warily seeking to engulf you in disaster, and if you fail to be watchful they will succeed.
Interpretation of it being night:
If you are surrounded by night in your dream, you may expect unusual oppression and hardships in business.
Interpretation of seeing your own tombstone:
To dream of seeing your own tombstone, portends your individual sickness or dissapointments.
Interpretation of the man with the gun and running you over:
To see a gun in your dream denotes distress. To dream of being hit and/or thrown from a vehicle foretells hasty and unpleasant news.
Interpretation of being in your room (that's different):
To be in your room, but it has been changed, denotes unhappy changes.
Interpretation of being in a coffin:
This dream is unlucky. You will, if you are a farmer, see your crops blasted and your cattle lean and unhealthy. To business men it means debts whose accumulation they are powerless to avoid. To the young it denotes unhappy unions and death of loved ones.
Quarrels with the opposite sex is also indicated. You will remorsefully consider your conduct toward a friend.
I hope this helps you, I know it don't sound too good but it is the meanings. Anyway try to put pillows along the edge of the bed so you don't fall out.

Something within you has died. You must discover what it is and why it has been returned to the unconscious, here symbolised by the earth. Alternatively the grave may be a pun to say that you are facing a ‘grave situation’ or it could simply be reflecting your own thoughts about death and mortality.

WELL......... your probably having trouble in your everyday life. Dreams like you dying usually mean that you are changing in most ways that you yourself can deal with. Inside or outer changes, only you can solve this. Or, your hanging around the wrong people and your getting their negative energy.

dreams are meaningless if you believe the bible, enlightenment in some religions and just stressful lifestyles to many psych majors... i've had the same dream on more than one occasion and i've died or killed people in more than a few of them... not fun. i wish you could pinpoint this, but ultimately if you are like most people you are going to go with the answer that sounds the best to you. i mean, people will try to sell you on their expertise... and you'll either believe what sounds the best to you or keep trying to figure this one out on your own... i'd keep trying on my own... you aren't alone! good luck!
