Oh damn. Looks like studies ARE finding children in childcare ARE growing up maladjusted...

NURSERIES 'TURNING OUR CHILDREN INTO YOBS'
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=446564&in_page_id=1770

"Labour's drive to put toddlers in childcare so mothers can go out to work is damaging a generation, the Government's own research showed yesterday."

"Young children who spend long hours in nurseries are more disruptive and anxious than infants mainly looked after at home by their mothers. The earlier they go to nursery, the worse their behaviour becomes."

"Toddlers left in daycare for at least 30 hours a week are "significantly" more likely to bully other children, tease them, call them names and demand their own way."

Basically the study says raising a child with two working parents is child abuse. Is that going to stop our wonderfully selfless feminists from demanding "independence" at their children's expense anyway?

Wow,...I am not used to this. please be patient with me. I am 3 years out of a divorce and I can't seem to get my leggs back under me and focused on the future. This concerns me ALOT! Prior to the divorce, I was a goal setting machine! I can make anything happen! my beliefs in self was about 150% above normal. Not ego out of control, beliefs in myself,...... now I can't find a WHY to create a desire. I built my businesses on the premise that i was doing something for my wife and 3 children. After 13 yrs of marriage my ex wife fell into the trap of perscription pain killers and alcohol. I totally get the dependance and I forgive her for those issues. I am having a hard time with the way she uses my children against me in retaliation and I would bet most people would. I want to move on. I just sit and think at times and i can't get past this.

Do most people blame others for their own character flaws. Like, if someone was too nosy, would they most likely blame someone else for being too nosy?

okay- this means that the less "perfect" you percieve yourself to be, the more productive you are? So that means that person who think they are less "perfect" are more productive and give you average performance while people who think they are more "perfect" will probably procrastinate and will also give you average performance of a task? So, to be the most successful in life, you must think of yourself as very "unperfect" but strive for perfection when completing a task?

Okay, so I am thirteen, and I am kind of scared. Is this worth telling my parents?

I finally got to sleep last night, and while I was sleeping, I started shaking really bad and really fast. I was freaking out. I tried to open my eyes, but I couldn't. I tried to yell for my parents, but it was like I wasn't letting my voice go through. It scared me to death. I am looking back on it now, and I am still scared to death to go back to sleep. Is this worth mentioning to my parents? Or is it just stupid?

There's Female Studies, but there is an incredible lack of Male Studies.

You'll never take a class regarding "Male Gender Studies in Early America". There's a Female class, but no Males one.

Please don't tell me it's because "men already dominate the world". If you look at female studies, they focus on the "domestic sphere" and sexuality. Male studies should be the same thing, with emphasis on the "Public Sphere" and sexuality.

For example, if we take Colonial America. There's plenty on what girls should be and their lives being centered on domesticity. If we look at men, sure their lives are centered on work, but how about men that do not live up to this? Black Male Slaves and their problems of feminitiy? Young men forced to work jobs just because society forces it on them. Any mental problems?
