Okay, so I am thirteen, and I am kind of scared. Is this worth telling my parents?
I finally got to sleep last night, and while I was sleeping, I started shaking really bad and really fast. I was freaking out. I tried to open my eyes, but I couldn't. I tried to yell for my parents, but it was like I wasn't letting my voice go through. It scared me to death. I am looking back on it now, and I am still scared to death to go back to sleep. Is this worth mentioning to my parents? Or is it just stupid?

Usually when you have a seizure you lose consciousness and don't know what is going on. People just notice a gap in consciousness and that they are now in a situation but they don't know how they got there. If you knew what was going on, it was probably not a seizure, but it was not the best thing either, so you should tell your parents because something is going on. Once in high school I started shaking all over and sweated profusely. I had pulled a muscle in a sensitive area and ad to recuperate from it because half of my body was in pain. I had been palying sports and strained some muscles.

Yes, I would definitely tell your parents.
I could be wrong, but I thought when you have a seizure you do not remember it happening. I would go to a doctor to confirm this, and ask about sleeping disorders as well. I was wondering if it had something to do with sleep paralysis or when you suddlen jerk awake when you are sleeping - they do not know why this happens but still it is worth going to the drs about.

It would be best to have your parents take you to a doctor to figure out your specific problem. Nothing to be afraid of. I had seizures as a preteen-twenty. Not that big of a deal.
I know that I did not remember almost all of them, as a general rule, they are unconscious and completely unable to recall. But I do remember two episodes. Those were frightening because I remember looking at my body while it was uncontrollable, with my friends in the next room. I felt hopeless and helpless ( I was in the bathroom), so nobody knew what was happening.

Tell them or anyone whom you can trust that might be able to help you.
Really, though. You should tell them.
Hope you get better.
:)
You should also research seizures online. Like what causes them, the dangers, and all that.
Oh, and by the way... DON'T LISTEN TO "Mdog20"!!!!! DO NOT!!!
