Sounds like you are talking about me. Most unstable people are no danger to others. More so than the average population.
The exceptions make good theater. The really dangerous people are those who are not unstable but have no conscience.

The first two traits you mention are "possible traps"...Be careful not to be trapped by the third trait you mentioned....mental instability...IS JUST THAT...incredibly unstable...!!...Brains,...good looks...charm....just easy characteristics to fake?....so, if you're uncomfortable around this guy...LISTEN...TO ..YOUR-SELF...!...AND GOOD LUCK

Bad combination of factors.

Possible he could go years and never do anything aggressive. But not likely.

What about his past? Convictions over domestic violence, assaults, etc.?

If looks were thrown into the mix, I'd say that he'd be dangerous in bed. But, not worth investing your life in -- he'd be for entertainment purposes only.
