I believe in a supreme power who has some kind of road map for us..to learn..not all controlling : no way !. I believe that "IT" (whatever people choose to term God) does have some plans in advance for us but we still have free will.
A comparison would be like being on a long road trip..with lots of U-turns, different directions, crossroads, etc ..for you to arrive at your destination. You either "get it" or you get lost and have to ask for directions.
But the car and the specific road trip has been determined...with lots of loopholes to test you.
So it is a yes/no answer.
I believe that we are all born with a certain deck of cards - another metaphor- and it up to us to know how to play them...

Yes! HE is there and controls every other move of every other living being in this world and also controls the planetary motions. Well, HE had given certain paths for all the planetary objects not to collide with each other. Also, HE had ordered Meteors to collide with some planet at some specified time.
Why do many people visit temples, churches, mosques, dargahs and other religious places?? It is just because of the faith in the SUPREME POWER and not for bird watching (though some youth indulge in this activity!)
HE had given certain freedom to us in the form of our will power but even that has been controlled by HIM and we call that as fate, some people term it as the inscriptions on our palm and fore head.

Hey, I believe in you , if this thought occured to you, then the
answer is - there is no point discussing the obvious.
Its like you asking your self ,do i control myself,Yes ofcourse
it is as simple as that.
Go and ask your parents the genesis of your birth?
If they have a answer for that, all your queries regarding supreme power will be answered, other wise leave some mysteries in the hand of GOD.

If the answer to your questions is in affirmative then will it fair for me to be punished for all my wrong doings? Because they are not within my control.
No, we are not pawns who are manoeuvred by Him. But He has given us a free will to choose from the good and the bad. If we choose the right way we will be rewarded and punished if we choose the wrong way. Though there are some things we do not have control over such as the span of our life, the timing of our death, the way we are going to die, etc.
Yes, besides the free will given to us He has control over everything, such as the movement of the stars, sun and the moon. The rain, the wind, the earth and the seas are all under His control. He controls all the universes

I believe God is in authority over all, but has given mankind free will to choose right or wrong. This free will comes with consequences for our choices. God has also given us the wonderful opportunity to receive the gift of salvation from sin, and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
At an appointed time, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God where He will separate the people of the earth. He will decide our fate based on His revealed plan and our response to Jesus Christ. God has complete control and will deal with everyone justly, as He sees fit to reward or punish.
Every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phillipians 2:9-11)

the believe or feeling that there is a supreme power controlling everything is a typical characteristic of schizophrenia....
So no, I don't have that feeling.. if you do, you need to review when and why you're under that impression.

Bogus. Life is series of accidents. Such theories have their genesis in quest of mankind for life before birth and after death. No such thing exists.

NO. God gave us something and it's called free will. We can do whatever we want when we want. God may have meant for Rob to be a sucessful banker with loads of cash, but his boss Bob fires him for no reason. God couldn't control that, so now he is a worthless hobo. Poor Rob.
