Do most people blame others for their own character flaws. Like, if someone was too nosy, would they most likely blame someone else for being too nosy?

I do think people tend to assume everyone else is like they are, so - yes - if someone is nosy they may tend to assume everyone else is nosy too.

People also tend to measure everyone else by their own personality traits/abilities. If they're neat they'll call people who are neater than they are "too neat" and everyone who's not as neat as "messy". If they worry they'll say people who worry less are "careless" and those who worry more are "too worrying".

Some people don't realize that everyone isn't like them, and some people don't realize that they aren't the standard by which others should be measured!

I use to,I use to blame other people for my laziness, when I make a mistake on the job,or just when something went wrong in my life I was a grown woman acting like a child then one day I seen that what anything that was wrong in my life was because of my it's my life not no one else then I started taking reasonable for my life and made some real changes,FOR THE BETTER

Most people do not want to blame themselves, as we as humans have a primitive "instinct" to think that we are perfect and incorruptible. Thus, anything that may corrupt us, we automatically dismiss as blasphemy and heresy. Things that go contrary to our beliefs are immediately given a bad name in our minds.

But as Humans, we also have the ability to suppress our instincts, and get over this, and using this tool, some people can admidt their mistakes, and take responsibility.

9 out of 10 people blame someone, usually the parents. I have a hard time with people not taking responsibility for their ****, no matter what it is.
