I got back a few months ago from being deployed with the army national guard for more than a year. My girlfriend broke up with me while I was gone. I was in college, and now I'm graduating, finally. Before, I wanted to go to grad school here, but now that I'm back, many of my friends have graduated and moved on, and many have gotten married. I can't seem to find a new girlfriend and just can't seem to get back in the groove of my old life. Basically, I'm not happy here anymore. I've started thinking that I should go to grad school somewhere else or go to work at some other location for a while. Even though my professors/career counselors say this is the best place for me to go, I'm not sure anymore. What do ya'll think?

Maude: What kind of flower would you like to be?
Harold: I don't know. One of these, maybe.(points to a huge bed of daisies)
Maude: Why do you say that?
Harold: Because they're all alike.
Maude: Oh, but they're NOT! Look. See, some are smaller; some are
fatter; some grow to the left, some to the right; some even have lost
some petals. All kinds of observable differences! You see, Harold, I
feel that much of the world's sorrow comes from people who are *this*,(points to one daisy)
yet allow themselves to be treated as *that*. (points to the huge bed of daisies)

i don't know about you, but i'm sick of racism.
i'm sick of people judging each other based on looks.
i'm sick of people only going out with good looking people if they're good looking
i'm sick of people not caring what your personality is like, as long as you look hot.

We no longer grow our own food. We no longer walk to our destinations. Cleaning our houses is less physicalloy demanding. We can ride elevators rather than climb stairs.
Is technology to blame for the poor physical condition of Americans. Who do we place the blame on.. Technology or Humanity..?

I have seen a mother love his son so much that no girl was able to replace the mother,s love. The boy is curently having problem with ladies because each time he want to settle down he compares his mother,s love and says no lady has given him such love. Should parents love to this extent that make their children forget that reality is not that loving?

I'm too responsible.

1. There is a preassumption by everyone in my world that I will get good grades, never get in trouble.

2. I have younger siblings that look up to me.

3. Apparently, I am a "role model" for all the younger kids at my church.

4. I always feel like it is my responsibility to make sure my parents are happy.

5. It is really hard to get go and just be. I have to do this and I have to do that i.e. improve on my spanish, clean the house, spend time with my family.

6. I'm thinking about working (studying ahead for my classes) during Spring Break. I just take myself too seriously. It's hard.

6. It suxs to be so responsible all the time.

Question: Do you have any advice for me?

* Plan your strategy for the game, days before the game, if not weeks. (e.g. a birdie for every hole - strategy)
* remember tunnel vision for your focus; go into focus just before you play, i.e. when you are hitting the ball nothing else maters, just you hitting the ball to your chosen destination, once done relax your focus.
* to help you go into the focus mode; say quietly in your mind what your are going to do, over and over again about 4 or 5 times to convince your subconscious mind so that your subconscious and conscious minds are both in sync.
* Most of all be confident and have belief in yourself, you can do it, go ahead and win it
