i met a woman on a phone chat line, we talked, off and on, for about 2 weeks, then, one night, she said," i want to meet you tonight! this is what i want you to do.........." and i'll tell you the rest later! it is worth the wait, so tell me about YOUR most interesting/strangest/weirdest first time meeting with someone?

I have a problem with fatigue and sleeping too much. Been tested for everything but still no answers.

My therapist told me to pick up a book on string theory, and my lucid dreaming could be a sign I am possibly crossing into another dimension. She asked if i thought this might be possible...

Do you think she was just testing me, or do you think I need to get a new therapist? Otherwise shes very nice...

We live in a society in which we are told that women and men are equal. If this is so, why is it socially acceptable that women could hit men and not vice-versa? If you think about it, this law has an allegorical meaning in it that states that women are beneath men and needs this social law. What do you think? Is this social law sexist?

Life is now complete.
Suddenly I plummet into obscurity
I shriek in anguish for help but my cries are futile
Inner bleeding now consumes me
For my body is tattered and torn
I endeavor to retrieve stability
But all that remains is isolation

No scars are seen from the fall
You laugh and grin to hide the screams
You pass me everyday
Not knowing were I have been
You smile a fake smile
You gleam as though you’re free
But you can never escape the inner part,
You are me

Thoughts? What does that mean to you?

I read the Four Myths of Winnebago that Claude Levi-Strauss applyed his method to for my anthropological thought class and I became really intrested.I was wondering if perhaps it could be applyed to urban legends and modern and past day american myths/legends (Pecos Bill,Paul Bunyan and the likes).I was thinking about doing a study/writeing a paper on this for my own enrichment outside of class.

I am not getting any answers in the mythology sectiono fthe answer site so I will try here as it is anthropology as well.

My girlfriend is by nature very sensitive and unfortunately suffers from chronic axiety. She also happnes to be a huge lover of rock music, everything like Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains etc. etc. I never grew up with that kind of music, and whenever I do try to listen to it, I only get jittery and disoriented - very heavy guitar riffs and loud seemingly disconcerting lyrics, etc. I know some people swear by that kind of music, but do you think this may be contributing to her anxiety? Should advise her to cut down on it?
