temper but i dont, now well rarely why is this

Because you have become a sensible person and realise that it is a waste of time losing your temper. It gets you nowhere.

I think as you get older you think about things more ,I used to have a short fuse but now I cant be bothered with petty squabbles,its like the old saying dont get mad get even.

You might have discovered that it takes a lot of energy to react and you would rather invest your energy in things that pay a better return.

i used to have a REALLY bad temper but im not like that anymore myself ! i put it down to getting older i still get angry and want to shout but id rather just keep my mouth shut as start a fight !

Could be you're maturing. I myself was always calm when I was younger but that's probably cause I matured faster than most people. Also it could be that you got something off your chest and feel more relaxed now.

It's because you've had major surgery and you think you are lucky to be alive. So you now count your blessings.
And those remarks and insults wern't that bad that you have to knock their block off. Were they?
