well since i presume this is a not for real situation. She may be trying to think herself into how someone about to undergo a beheading would feel. If it were for real god forbid, and she had advance notice of the date and time. She may have made peace with her god and calmly await the end by saying a prayer or thinking of a loved one or a favorite place. So that she does not hear the swish sound as the blade decends.

the picture portrays probably how the french have demoralized the women and making them feel inferior. The feeling would go as would through any other person is the question, "why me" and if not that then, "this is an example of bravery and courage" as portrayed in many movies "braveheart".
