Hey, I have a problem. When I go to bed, even if I'm dead tired, I can't go to sleep. I stay awake and I think about the past. Things that went wrong, things I'm not proud of, mistakes, just everything I wish I could forget. Then I start to think of things that could happen, to me, my kids, my husband, everyone. This usually keeps me up until about 3 or 4 am when I just give up and take some tylenol pm or drink some beer. What's the problem? why am I doing this? This has been happening for at least 6 months. Is this an actual medical condition, is there something wrong with me, or am I just a worrywart? When I do fall asleep I have vivid dreams full of violence and death. I am a peaceful happy person, so I don't understand.

about how she has a famous father, that she got this movie roll, that she was on this radio station. She is not interested in anyone else. Although she appears very plain. When you see her at first glance, you might miss her because she is so quiet untilyou get to know her and she talks so much about herself.

As many would agree, upon their child entering into adulthood, every parent wants their offspring to achieve the highest level of success (in college, their future professions, etc.) and become law-abiding, contributing members of society. To ensure that their child reaches this desired level of personal and professional success in the future, some parents choose to devote much of their time and energy to nuturing the child's competitive nature. Being a member of a capitalist and sometimes cut-throat society (American society), how do you think such tactics influences the child's behavior/actions? Do you think that it produces positive or negative outcomes--or both? Finally, which attitude do you presently hold--the "try your best" attitude, or a "do what you can to get what you want" attitude?

Serious and mature answers are greatly desired and appreciated. Thanks!

Okay, Im at school (my college) and i see one of my girl friends. She's really pretty and at one point last semester i kinda liked her. anyway, we're eating lunch together and then as she comes back from takin her tray stops and whispers something to another girl (which just happens to be Jordin from American Idol). Then she comes back and sort of eases me down on by back and crawls on top of me. She then leans down and kisses me on the mouth and even uses some tounge. Naturally, i kiss back. We make out passionately for a while and then we go to the opening round of the NCAA mens basketball tounament where Memphis hits a game winning shot and the fans go crazy (i dont attend Memphis). Oh yeah, My friend's name wasnt her real name but rather Rachel (a friend of mine that I wanted to be more than friends with that same semester. we went out once to a concert that was required for one of our classes but when i asked her out for real she said she had a bf.) whaddaya think it means?

An elder/mentor of mine tells me that in order to seperate my emotions form my decisions, i have to realize that love is not an emotion. To back that up he told me that GOD IS LOVE. And to say that love is an emotion is to say that GOD is a Huge blob of emotion which i assume thats not correct

a lot of britons say we dont, with most coupels just cohabiting or not even that. The trend is spreading. What is your thought on it ? Do we still need marriage, in a time where women can earn their own money ? In what way is it still important ? Why can it be done away with ?

I was having a great day today, when I was laughing like crazy almost every minute. But I can't help but wonder, what makes us laugh? I'm not asking what kind of things cause us to laugh, I mean like, what makes our bodies react in that way, that makes us produce that joyful sound. What triggers in our brain to make us smile at a good joke?

What would the long-run supply and demand curves look like for the following:

At a given instant in time, with normal supply and demand curves, each supplier at equilibrium is about to become a demander for the equilibrium price.

An example: if the equilibrium price is $5 with a quantity of 10 (with 10 different suppliers), each of the 10 suppliers is willing to become a demander for a price of $5.
