Both subjects are concerned with human behavior but psychology seeks ways to scientifically observe and measure behavior in order to predict human behavior. Philosophy proposes the ideas but doesn't try to find ways to measure and test the results of those ideas.

Psychology is the study of behavior, both overt (visible) and inner behaviors.
Philosophy, on the other hand, is the study of knowledge and secular belief systems. Two major areas of concern to philosophers are "what is real" (called ontology) and "how do we know or acquire knowledge" (called epistemology).

There is much overlap between the two, but they are different disciplines.
