When sinners repent, do they simply repress the unacceptable aspects of self? Or do they actually change once and for all? What has been your experience with born again-ness as the solution for the problem? Did you find it unrealistic? Does Psychology offer more prctical solutions?

I am mixed (black and white) but most of the kids I skate with are black. I mean our white friends even call us white so we ditch talk to some black friends and they say the same, we ask why and they say "because blacks don't do that" or "that stuff is gay ***** get a life".

ALSO . If we as black men and women can not except others of our own race how will we ever be accepted? Isn't that what Martin and Malcolm fought for!!! How can we as black people overcome racism if we cannot accept our own race just because they skate, or are smart, play hockey, lacrosse, or do other things, or anything else. Thats like saying whites can't be rappers, blacks aren't good leaders, and asians aren't athletic. These are racist, stereotypical, and angering. Some of these stereo types do have a little statistical basis but it's still racist.
Does anyone know any books on this subject

There's a woman in our university who teaches us Stylistics. I only missed her class once. So today I was sitting in a classroom and there she was passing by. The door was open so she'd noticed me and beckoned me to come out. I thought she'd just ask me why I missed her class yesterday, but instead she sort of bawled me out for missing that class. It wasn't nice... She had thrown a bunch of emotional trash at me and left feeling better and quite satisfied with herself, I'm sure. And I'd been all bummed out about it for the rest of the day. Perhaps her negative energy had nothing to do with me, I'm aware of that, but it doesn't make me feel better. Now I have a real dilemma in front of me. I may not attend her class again, though it'll be tricky, but I think I could do that, or I may continue going there and pretend nothing's happened but then I'll feel like a moron anyone can vent on whenever they like. Simply put, it'll make a damage to my self-esteem. So what should I do?!

I really need more people to answer this question,

If you had to choose one world and one world only, which would you choose and why;

1) A world in which only good is rewarded and evil is ignored

2) A world in which only evil is punished and good is ignored

I was supposed to poll 20 people but I thought it would be easier here, please answer...

Just looking for guidance, don't necessarily need to become licensed, but would like information on that also.

Would just like to learn/read more about it and what steps are required to become licensed.

Thanks for your help.

It seems that having a conscience is less a trait of education level but a "have it or you don't" type phenomena. Why are people so determined to have some type of enemy to the point of creating one if it doesn't exist?

Suppose you spend 10 bucks for a ticket to the fair and suddenly, your friends show up and invite you to the movies.

Now, you have 2 choices: going to the fair or going to the movies. You can't do both. Suppose you would enjoy both activities as much, but still, you have to choose.

This is the question: regardless of the option you choose, will those 10 bucks you spent be a factor that will influence your decision?

Please just respond if it will affect your decision or not. DO NOT EXPLAIN YOUR ANSWER!!!!!

My mother is manic depressive and pyschotic, meaning diagnosed with those disorders.

She raised me well and and strictly. But besides keeping me as in line as best she could, there was really no nuturing relationship.

Everything she says is negative or posioned by her paranoia.

She wants to talk with me more and more lately even though we used to go for weeks without talking. There's nothing to say though.

She wants me to visit her, but I don't have the time or patience to deal with her.

Besides, there's nothing to talk about. She's buliemic so she doesn't eat out. She doesn't do anything mother/daughter like and never has.

I love her and hear the pain in her voice when she wants to talk with me. But she has nothing to say really. Because she doesn't live an everyday life, she doesn't understand mine.

What should I do? I love her and want her to be happy with our relationship, but she's never happy with anything anyway.

The incident of being caught skinny dipping is relevant. The guard is an emotionally charged symbol. He caught you doing something which embarrassed you, and which has to do with nudity (thus he is like the superego god of the garden of eden). You and your guy friend are doing something which would be embarrassing to you if others knew, thus you are fleeing the scrutiny of the guard (superego). The gorgeous shiny black purse symbolizes something you desire but cannot afford (and the money you do not have symbolizes something you lack, which if you had it, you could obtain the purse, which symbolizes something you desire). The dark gloomy hotel room suggests a sexual liaison. If the guy friend has a wife or is in a relationship, then the dream suggests you want to be his lover yet cannot do so openly, so you must do so in secret. The purse could represent the guy friend whom you "steal", in which case the guard could represent the guy friend's woman, or perhaps social disapproval

The people WE pay to help people. And they sit around tables looking for ways to take their help away. Picking and choosing who they "feel" like
helping, and screwing people they don't like.
Leaving them on the street, and creating a constant
drain on Society and Your Tax dollars.

When i was 22 (and unmarried), I met a married woman at a bar/ club. She was older, but still relatively attractive and our personalities just clicked. she was out with her friends. seemed to be happy enough about her life, and wasn't outto pick up a guy - she was taken aback by the whole thing.

It turned into a romp in the back seat of her truck.

Now my wife is starting to go out with her freinds. Just dancing. And i beleive her. But could she, if the right guy . . . How often does it happen?
