I am constantly so worried about work and right now and since last night(today was my day off and I was thinking about it ALL day) I have been worried about something that happened at work. (a mistake that could possibly be my fault)..how do I relax and stop worrying or at least put the issue at the back of my mind at least until the next day that I work and it all gets sorted out (i'm off tmrw too) so that tomorrow won't be a day wasted by worrying myself sick to the point where all I can do is think about it and chainsmoke...? help, guys

"women are opressed because we have been treated horribley in the past. we were used as sex slaves and werent given the chance to vote. us women also have to worry about being abused by men and fear going out at night in fear of being raped by the hands of men."

MY ARGUMENT: ALL people of genders and races are opressed. we are all at risk of violence not just women. men in fact als have to fear other men too. there is robbery, murder, assults and many more. women are not the only ones at risk of violence. EVERYONE is.

“Women are very important to society because we are the only ones who can give birth. We are the ones who sustain life and have to go through the pain of labor. Men should be more empathetic towards this.”

MY ARGUMENT: women can give birth but not create a child. It takes a man AND a woman to create a child. Neither can create a life without the other. Sure you have to go through the pain of labor. But that’s life. A ruptured or trauma to a testicle are one of the few pains that can cause the human body to die from the pain alone. It can cause the heart to stop or can cause the body to go into shock. Both genders have incredible pains. Not just women

First off: don't give me that "emotionally detached" internet dream dictionary entry. It doesn't apply to me.

My most common type of dream is one about zombies taking over the world. I've had them since high school (I'm in college/uni now). Most times I (or someone else--last night it was Vin Diesel, haha) am locked up some place with zombies either surrounding the area or chasing me. I usually have some sort of weapon but it's rare I use it. I usually run away or hide.

Zombies scare me...a lot, even if my dreams about them can be funny at times. They're one of my biggest fears. Yet I don't watch horror movies very often, so I don't think these have anything to do with my dreams. I should also note that I have anxiety. Could this just be a manifestation of my anxiety? Or is it just what's going on in my life? Or both?

Another note: I get sleep terrors too, and I'm afraid one day I'll "wake up" to zombies in my room. Please help me figure this out.

A friend of mine and I were having a discussion the other night abo-ut how actions speak louder than words. So I came up with the question of, "Since actions speak louder than words, how does one PROVE to a woman that she is beautiful? Seeing as how the word is an adjective and not a verb how do you DO beautiful?" I have come up blank with the exception of that it has to be something tangible, physicial and out of the ordinary. Because any man can "say" a woman is beautiful, but to PROVE to a woman she is beautiful is something different entirely.

it seems that ever since feminism that the male role is disapearing. when i say the masculine role i do NOT mean the boss of the relationship. i mean the role of a man feeling like a man and being masculine. its seems like women are now trying to play both mom and career woman and on top of that they are shedding there sense of femininity because they think that being feminin and womanly is just a social construct created by men, the "opressors". and they are trying to go out of there way to be more masculine. i think that if women play the role of everything then where does that leave men? what role can they play without feeling emasculated? a man needs to feel like a man and how can he do so if his woman is doing that for him? and if he does try to play the role of a man then he is ridiculed for being sexist and opressing women.

when i say masculine and playing the role of a man i do not mean that, that means bing the "breadwinner" or that only he should be working . men need to To do men things. And its like the male figure seems to be disapearing

Last week I fell asleep on a bus and woke up on a train. My wallet was gone, but all my cash, credit cards, and ID were left in my pocket. I asked people sitting near me how I got on the train, and of course no one knew anything. Some said I was already on the train when they got on. How can you explain this phenomenon?

I need some advice on how to come across to people as confident - without having to resort to alcohol etc. I'm 28, have heaps of qualifications, have travelled lots. However, i'm still a nervous wreck when dealing with people! I feel inadequate, shy, stupid, etc. I'm constantly worrying if I am good enough as a professional as as a human being. I am beginning to hate myself for not being able to overcome this (believe me, I have tried. I dont know what else to do! - ive tried counselling, alcohol(!) - I know, stupid?! Does anyone else go through this? Or do you have advice? I'm in despair!! (i'm trying to apply for my 'dream' job at the moment but keep flopping at interviews as i'm not confident enough, though I know I have the skills)
