It's not talking to yourself, it's thinking out loud.

unless of course you are making a conversation to yourself as if you were two people at once, then that might be a problem.

No, and I don't feel that it's nessiceraly a bad thing. Like in long term solitude. I use to spend months at a time, alone in the woods. Holding two sides of a conversation, sorting out the business of the day ahead, keeping large predators aware of my presence, and discussing the events of day. But when I would get to town, I didn't have to get used to speaking out loud, or startle at the sound of a human voice. And no, I didn't think I was two people. But it did help in being able to deal with abstract thought. I suppose that works the same in the civilized world.

Have you changed your profile name, could be wrong but I could swear you were under another name yesterday, same pic. No, I talk to myself, especially in my sleep, at least that way I get the answer I want to hear.

I do it all the time when no one is around. I used to think I was nuts, then realized probably a lot of people do it.

The downside is, even I don't listen when I speak. :P

I do it all the time. Though not always aloud, I keep speaking to myself throughout the day.

Am I mad? I think not. But it is for others to say, not me.
