"women are opressed because we have been treated horribley in the past. we were used as sex slaves and werent given the chance to vote. us women also have to worry about being abused by men and fear going out at night in fear of being raped by the hands of men."
MY ARGUMENT: ALL people of genders and races are opressed. we are all at risk of violence not just women. men in fact als have to fear other men too. there is robbery, murder, assults and many more. women are not the only ones at risk of violence. EVERYONE is.
“Women are very important to society because we are the only ones who can give birth. We are the ones who sustain life and have to go through the pain of labor. Men should be more empathetic towards this.”
MY ARGUMENT: women can give birth but not create a child. It takes a man AND a woman to create a child. Neither can create a life without the other. Sure you have to go through the pain of labor. But that’s life. A ruptured or trauma to a testicle are one of the few pains that can cause the human body to die from the pain alone. It can cause the heart to stop or can cause the body to go into shock. Both genders have incredible pains. Not just women

Yes; Freudian ideas of personality and individuality revolving around sexuality are wonderful, aren't they? Both penis and womb envy are innately ignorant (womb envy more so than penis envy) and anyone that would use them as justification for something does not deserve oxygen (or was possibly deprived of it for too long to begin with).
I think your arguments are basically accurate; the first is a little general and weak because certain groups have incurred more brutalities than other groups. That, of course, is NOT justification for putting a supposedly "oppressive" group down in the modern world or forcing them to make reparations.

"women are oppressed because we have been treated horribly in the past." Excuse me for correcting your spelling. Feminism has never used this argument, and the fact is that some women continue to be treated horribly and are also currently being oppressed. Please state where you have gotten this idea from because I would just like to let you know that it is quite incorrect.
Feminists and women in general are quite aware of the biological factors that contribute to the creation of an embryo through the fertilization of the ova by a sperm. Your argument and your quote are ridiculous and you would lose if you were on a debate team, because there is no concrete evidence to back up either of you so called dlaims.

You're a bit obsessed, I think. The feminism movement was brought about because of need. My grandfather abandoned his family, resulting in my mother and her sisters being put into an orphanage (where one died). My own mother was, in turn, abandoned by my father for a while, and we almost were homeless. My grandfather's legacy has affected us all, to this day.
Women have needed to be paid the same as men for the same job from necessity - many women have had to take on the role of breadwinner.
Men and women should be equal in respect. One isn't better than the other. But women are much more vulnerable. Not only are they more likely to be the carers of the children, they are physically weaker. And by the way, it's usually women who are raped. Women have much more to fear from men, than men have from women.
Women do have babies, but that isn't the reason why they are superior. They are different and have different needs.
It all boils down to respect. Of course women are important to society. Because they are half of our society. Men are too.
Neither is superior, just different.
BTW - why do men always bring out that thing: when last did you have a real relationship with a man? Is that your argument? Tellng people they're sexually repressed? Where's your superior argument? Your sense of logic? Why must you be sexually repressed just to support feminism?

Though a case of the pot calling the kettle black, why are you in the women's studies section? I'm just here looking for my wife.
Your arguments are weak. I'd rather adopt a child than pass one from such a tiny opening. I was there for the birth of my son and almost fainted. Incredible moment!
Women fear men for good reason. Most females don't reach adulthood without being molested or raped, often by a male family member. I don't fear men. You sound like a sissy boy.

first of all not all races and genders are oppressed...the upper/elite classes are not oppressed they have all the money/power/prestige to be the oppressors and men have more power in society because they are men...have you heard of patriarchy?
secondly, your second argument is not an argument used by feminist scholars, though i do not believe your first one was used either. please read an intro to women's study textbook before making claims like these, so that you can argue against actual feminst arguments

While I am not exactly gung-ho about radical feminism, I don't appreciate the idea of going back to being a second-class citizen, either. Obviously, it has been a long time since you had a job blown, and with these ideas, it is not surprising why.
