Dear the first answerer,
You're the one who should grow up and get a life, I suppose.
When people ask in this Yahoo! Answers, that means they want to ask or seek the help from the others. Your statements shows of the premature ideas you're possesed. No offence but totally disappointing with a person like you. I NEED an ANSWER, NOT a DUMB ADVICE, okay? Thanks, by the way.

To the other answerers,
In fact, I don't care whether you agree or disagree with this idea, just need your opinions, with the strong basis and valid arguments to back up your answer.
Thanks. TiRa.

1) according to finance , we have to cough up cash for availing the benefits of technology. but from the humane point of view , technology has a serious effect on our daily lives. we getmore and more dependent on appliances thus we spoil our health, we dont engage in outdoor activities hence we end up paying up gym fees. we continously watch tv and pc hence we spoil our eyes.
therefore by misusing technology we mistreat ourself
2)medicines for health
programes for entertainment
news for keeping up with the world
ngc and discovery for boosting our IQ
watching sports
educational programes for enrichment of our mind
3)as i said before, by misusing technology we play with our lives.excess of anything is bad.
to much tv = eye problem
appliance overuse = great bill + lethargic body
pc games = no body constructive activity
cars = pollution
industrialization = pollution + underemployment
tv = bad exposure (porn, drugs, voilence)

Technology has its own cost to daily life.See motor cars.It has increased comfort of travel but also increased pollution.Carbo dioxide and somke emission is the greated health hazard.Nuclear poer technology has increased poer supply,but it pollutes even underground water.These are costs of modern technology.Technology does not give anything free,it is enble us to enjoy exploit resources much faster.It we are enjoying at the cost of future generations.See a world in 2050 with no petrol,nuclear waste everywhere,chemical wastes everywhere.Do you want it or do you want to cut down present level enjoyment to leave something for the future is the question.

Aside from belief and prayer... I personally believe one of the most important things is that we treat others not only in a way we want to be treated ourselves, but in the way we hope and pray God will treat us. Just a few examples... If we are so full of pride we see others as nothing in comparison to ourselves, if we have no sense of humility, how can we ask God who is above us all not to see us as nothing to him? If we allow our anger and vengeance to be the emotion that gives us action, rather than learning the act of forgiveness towards those who do wrong and feel remorse, how can we ask God to forgive us for what we refuse to do for others? There are many things that would follow this line of thinking. While I don't believe anyone can be God-like in their life, I do thing we should strive to live in a way that shows we deserve the best that God has to offer us. If that intention is there, and our actions can follow that intention, then at the least we can say we have done our best for fulfill our life and purpose within it.

You have some good points here already.
I think technology is damaging family life. When I was a kid we used to do things as a family and watching TV together was a big deal (only 4 channels too)
Now, I have a child in each room watching TV or playing PS2 whilst mum or dad are on PC!

I'd just like to add that all electrical gadgest are potentially harmful cause they speed up our metabolism by bombarding us with many kinds of high frequency, electro-magnetic radiation that weakens our immune system and puts a strain on our heart
