When i was 22 (and unmarried), I met a married woman at a bar/ club. She was older, but still relatively attractive and our personalities just clicked. she was out with her friends. seemed to be happy enough about her life, and wasn't outto pick up a guy - she was taken aback by the whole thing.

It turned into a romp in the back seat of her truck.

Now my wife is starting to go out with her freinds. Just dancing. And i beleive her. But could she, if the right guy . . . How often does it happen?

Most studies that have been done have shown that men, at least, admit to cheating more commonly than women do. Generally that margin is rather significant as well. How legitimate any of those studies are is up to debate, but it appears to be the consensus that men cheat more often than women. This is probably a result of societal, psychological, and evolutionary influences. For example, a male's sexuality is far more aggressive and encouraged by his peers and society in comparison to the sexuality of a female.

I don't think it's any more or less common for a woman than a man. Which is a very broad spectrum, but that's just the point, it's about the individual and their capabilities as well as yours, and for you both to be able to trust one another based on a real honesty, understanding, and knowing one another, for better or worse, and then having come to the conclusion ...are you ignoring red flags because of how you want it to be, or is it the way it really is, and deciding...are we right together, and can we rely on it, something that should be apparent prior to marriage, atleast to the best of your knowledge because anyone can be too good to be true, and if you haven't come to the conclusion you feel safe and can trust, what do you have, and is it worth the headache for either of you. You say you believe her, are you sure you do, because I trust my wife, and I can say I'm not asking questions like these or having the thought of...what if? If you believe her, and love her, give her that trust and judge her by the character you married her for, not some bar sleeze and the way she could disreguard her vows. I don't think she would appreciate the comparison...that she could do this.

Six in ten women will cheat on their husband at least once during their marriages.

Oh, and a sidenote: People say that, "Women cheat if they're not being satisfied emotionally or sexually by their husbands." That's completely untrue. If your wife ever ends up cheating on you, it would NOT be your fault.

I would know; I'm married to an absolutely wonderful man and I used to cheat on him a lot. Ironically, usually when I'm "out dancing." My friends do, too. Girls want to have fun. It's more exciting sleeping with someone other than, you know, your husband. So, uh, you might want to keep tabs on your wife a bit.

Sorry if that wasn't what you wanted to hear, sweetheart. Good luck.

the divorce rate is about one half now guess you may have a problem ,, if you and every guy in america is trying tohave sex then where do you meet women ,, at the bars and to have half the marriages end in divorce means that they are f,ing someone so its got to be a dude heres the way to check without getting caught checking find out where they drink or go some of its innocent like a place that has food but if they have male dancers they sometimes have sex or after show sex with members of the audiance send a friend to the place they go someone she doesnt know have him call you from the joint and report with a picture see modern phones do that or save money for a detective if she comes home and doent want sex thats a hint if she showers after coming in thats bad especialy if its quick like lets get the smell off good luck

Men may cheat more than women, but in our open society the rate difference is truly marginal. Mate choice among females sometimes leads to extra marital affairs. This is a statistical average and need not apply to your personal situation. We study populations, but deal with individual people.

Maybe you should ask your wife, and explain your reason for asking. Hopefully you have good communication and a good relationship and can be honest and accept her answer in good faith. You know it does happen, but it happens with guys, too. Do you go out with your friends? Do you mess around? Some guys do and some women do, but not all.

don't let your personal experience get in the way, it depends on your wife, you know her better than any of us do, reactions and actions are different. some women don't mind, some are greedy and some are faithful. i woudn't worry, as long as she loves you, at the end, it doesn't matter.

its about as often as men cheat.

if you worry about it too much, you'll probably help it happen

if she does it anyway then she's not worth your time... or she's decided for some reason that you're not worth hers.

the best thing to do is just talk to her. for gods sake she's your WIFE you should be able to discuss anything
