Just looking for guidance, don't necessarily need to become licensed, but would like information on that also.

Would just like to learn/read more about it and what steps are required to become licensed.

Consider the client base you want to work with. Addicts? Schizophrenics? Transitioning people? How deep do you want to go? A Life Coach would be ideal, since it involves working with functioning people. Licensing would require an MA or PHD, and sticks you with difficult cases. Define "Psychologist" more closely, and then you will know the Way you must travel.

Go to college, major in psychology (like 1/2 of the rest of the student population), go to graduate school, start a practice, drink yourself to death.

are u still in school? what about your guidance counseler? did u ask him/her if they could give you some info on that subject? and also if u type in ur search bar , they say u can earn a degree online but i havent tried it!
