Youngest child and 7th son from a family of nine. I also have large lung capacity and strong diaphragm. They act like I don't have any volume control in normal, private, and phone conversations. I also have other social speaking problems. Coworkers and friends say that I often come in the middle of conversations and interrupt them. I have found out that coworkers are annoyed with this. Even though everyone says I am a nice guy with an extroverted personality and big heart, I notice that people avoid me and don't seem to interact with me. I am working on improving my self-confidence and esteem, but the cold shoulder treatment that I have received from people for the last five years is taking its toll.

Do people of Yahoo! Answers find the answers more useful than professional help? What keeps you going on Yahoo! Answers? Are common sense and life experience more useful than advice of book worms?

I watched my brother's high school hockey team play a team with a girl on it, even though this other team had a separate girls hockey team. Now, after hearing many arguments on this issue, I guess the girl does have a right to play on the boy's team.

However, if that is the case, all the guys who were not able to make the team, should be able to play on the girls team.

However, feminists want it both ways. They want girls to be able to play with the guys, but also want as many girls playing these sports as possible since they know that if there were no gender classifications in physical sports like hockey and football, that at least 90% of the players would be men, due to inherent physical strength and physical aggression advantages.

This is wrong. Either prohibit girls from playing on guys teams, or get rid of gender classifications for sure. And if they get rid of gender classifications, what the number of female athletes drop significantly.

it's not real, right? they don't want you to do it, you want to do it. how does that make you addicted? i think telling someone they're addicted is just a way to trick people into doing what you want... like a communist leader. and if you tell them they're addicted, it gives them an excuse to continue doing whatever!!

i live in a three bedroom house, (head of household) and i keep having this dream my older sister is either packing her boxes or her boxes are already packed and ready to move. in the meantime, the first dream was she was packed and someone came to break in the house and it was a confrontation. The second dream was she was leaving and i was scared to be in the house alone and i was trying to find someone to stay with me in her absence. The thing is, i have been living in my house for nine years, but these dreams are weirding me out.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no question "IF" we will pay Iraq billions in annual aid. If we don't, opther countries (i.e.: Iran -- who is already financing public works porojects in Southern Iraq) will.

So how much of the U.S. taxpayers money should be sent (annually) to Iraq? $10 billion? $20 billion?

I look around this little chunk of realestate called North America, and I see that "we the people" have been given everything we need to keep us from becoming inovative. It seems that no one has a real need to make things that could make the easy life we live in, even easier. If you want to realise why society wasnt obese in the old old days , then just picture this world without fossil fuels and electricity....imagine the world if it went through a magnetic pulse where every mechanical and solid state, man made invention, that was dependant on electricity to operate, right down to a simple digital wrist watch or solar powered calculator, was no longer of any use......we would be free....., then I think about that statement for a second and grin. We would still be owned by our governments like always. Peace
