1st answer, you must be stupid not to know that the oldest person alive now is 115! So I'm guessing there are still a few...yep lighten up.

the 19th century is from 1800-1899, I don't mean people who lived through alot of that century. I was just curious to know how many are still alive that were born in that century.

There are very few indeed.
Currently, a woman from the Netherlands holds the title at age 114. The oldest person in history lived to 122, according to Guinness' Web site. So they were both born in the very late 1800's which is correctly the 19th century so well done for knowing your time scale.
people on here need to go back in time to know when the 19th century was, because it only ended 106 years ago!.
21st century = 2000
20th century = 1900
19th century = 1800
So the answer to your question is only two people are still alive today from the 19th century that we know about and they are both aged between 114-122. There is a recent report that states that there is also a 124 year old woman in Chechnya alive today so she would have been born 1884!. They were all born in the 19th century.

The 19th century was the 1800's.
If someone was born at the last possible moment in 1899, they would be 108 years old this year. So while it's certainly possible that there are a few people left alive from the 19th century, that number is going to be very very small indeed. And their practical experience with the 19th century will be for all purposes none, by virtue of how young they would have been.

Hi
Interesting question. Lets see, they would have to be at least 108 years old if they were born in 1899.
How many people of that age do you think could possibly be living, there could be quite a few, bearing in mind those indigenious cultures. But I dont think you'll find a 100and something year old person on this site saying they from the 19th century - hehe would be cool though.
Cheers
