You are very hard worker...maybe thats why you are not getting sleep. But I think you are more of a toiler... Rest is as important to body as much as food and water. Sort it out with your boss!

I can understand your predicament. You have said you do a very hard work everyday or something akin to that. But no idea as to what kind of hard work. Creative? Labour- i mean physical labour or
using your mind to do calculations and accounts kind? Seniors will always say, leave work at office and go home or Leave home worries at home itself the time you start for your work place. It's easy to say for anyone but the same seniors will call you in tha middle of the night and ask you about something related to your work. Know that they preach but not practise. I think the real problem is that almost no one, either at home or in your working place, has ever complimented or appreciated your 'hard work'. You are longing for that. Instead of bothering about it, go on doing it thinking it's my work and i do it well. At present the comliment is part of my salary only. If compliments come when you are expecting them, the joy will not be total. If what you say is true, about 'hard work', compliments and appreciations are bound to come your way. If not today, may be next month or even next year. These things you can't predict unless you are a close pal of your boss. Is that possible?

try meditation in the evening and breathing techniques such as pranayama in the evening. Savasana can also help, reduce cofee/tea intake. eat as early aspossible say by 8.00 pm. dont take back work presurres back home. Have some hot milk a hour before going to sleep. A clear consience at the end of the day by itself can give you good sleep patterrn and also food regulation is critical - try and stick to veg as much as possible.
good night

Be balanced
8 hours of work + 8 hours of sleep + 8 hours of fun = 24 hour day.
Everybody has the right to enough sleep.
Do not wear out your body. It is the temple of your Atma. Love, respect it and treat it well and it will last you many years.
Love & Peace

I think u r going through some tension in your subconscious mind, which u may not feel but your brain can feel.
Secondly, u may have gained weight, which sometimes leads to sleeplessness.
Thirdly, lack of vitamin may be the cause.
It would be better if u start doing yoga and meditation. If this problem continues u may consult your family doctor.

Why do you hard work man?
No one is going to give you nobel prize for that!
Do some smart work instead of hard work!
IF YOU DO PHYSICAL HARD WORK, YOU WILL DEFINITELY GET DEEP SLEEP!
ONLY, MENTAL HARD WORK MEANS, AGAIN AT HOME YOU ARE GOING TO RE-THINK ABOUT YOUR OFFICE WORKS AND ALL NON-SENSE! THEN, HOW COME THE SLEEP WILL COME TO YOU!
Never consider, only on your head, the total organisation is running on! Even, after the demise of our Father of our nation- Gandhiji, no one died following his death, and every thing was set-right in the place within a short frame! Even without your presence, the work in your company will move on!! Think about your family welfare, take parental care, love wife, and children if you have! FOR THE ORGANISATIONS THERE ARE HUNDREDS AND THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE! FOR YOUR FAMILY, NO ONE SUCH!
WITHDRAW YOUR TOTAL MIND PUT IN TO YOUR ORGANISATION! BE RELAXED! AND PLAY WITH YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS A LOT!
Then, you will get deep and sound sleep!
Sleep comes out of your happiness and peacefulness! Not for your workalic nature, with no fun in your private life!!
Work while you work!
Laugh while at Home!
Thats it, the secret of sound sleep!!

sleep cannot be connected to hard work. either you have a big mind block or you are not happy of something in life, have a brisk walk or if time permits do work out and you will see the difference.

sounds to me that you put in a lot of time at the office... a lot of time at the office does not mean you are a hard worker.. if ususally means that you are not good a coordinating work loads.. recommend to take a time mangement course, and balance your life style
