Two weeks ago I had an intense dream that I recalled when I awoke. The dream was about an ex-girlfriend that I have not seen or thought about in over ten years. The message in the dream was that I should contact her. I contacted her and she asked me in a very direct but inquisitive sort of way what made me think of her. I told her about my dream and she said she had a similar dream about me! I think that dreams, if we can remember them, can tell us a great deal about our past, present and future. This was not a 'wet dream' or hallucinations brought on by illicit drugs or alcohol. I want to know what other people think about my experience, what does it mean and what do you think I should do about it?

Somedays I feel really unattractive, unintelligent, boring, dull...etc. I feel like I have nothing to say. I worry about people asking me questions because I feel that I will say something stupid. I'm in college now. I thought by now I wouldn't have these problems, but they still remain buried inside of me. I see a psychologist, doesn't really help. I feel like a loner, but I am always socializing. I don't easily trust people. I feel akward and strange at times. Where do I belong? Sometimes I think I will settle for anyone who I feel comfortable around because so many times I feel so uncomfortable around someone I truly like. I'm weird, different, stupid. That's how I see myself. Sometimes when guys look at me, I feel that they find something repulsive about me. What to do?

I do not consider myself as suicidal but whenever I am in a high place, cliff top, tall building I have the most frustrating dialog with myself that goes a bit like this "Irrational, irrational, I am being irrational. I am not afraid to die. I am panicking because I think I might lose control and throw myself over. I will not bend to my fear. I have to face my fear. NO! I don't want to...at this point I experience the most annoying panic attacks and I rationalize to myself that the reason is that subconsciously I am deeply affected by divorce, lack of fulfillment etc. The rest of my life is very good. I am learning that all I have to do is give and give and give - for no other reason other than to honour my higher purpose. I just can't understand why I have this phobia as I am feeling that as I focus on love and peace then those kinds of negatives should be dissolving. Does anyone know what I mean and how I can address the whole issue.

I don't think I've ever lashed out at people at my work, at friends, at anybody outside of my house- It's always to the people I actually love and care about, wouldn't I be lashing out at anybody else but them, if that is the way I feel about them?

this is a serious question. i have 2 imaginary friends, lorain and bob. lorain claims to be a ghost that lives in the backroom of the house. she's kinda old, about late 70s or early 80s, she hasnt told me her exact age. bob is a theif and murder. bob is not his real name, its an alias. he always wears a ski mask and black jacket and is 25. i dont know why they are my friends but they are. is it normal for a 13 yr old to have imaginary friends? i have real friends and i live a pretty normal life except for this

My boyfriend told me that he had a weird dream. He was a ghost. After he died I was upset for about two weeks, then I started dating one of my close guy friends. He could see and hear everybody, but nobody could see, or hear him. A couple years passed and I moved back to my home town. Somebody I was talking to mentioned him and I didn't know who they were talking about.

Does anybody know what this dream could represent?

My former friend began cutting herself a few years ago back when we hung out. It freaked me out so much that I gradually stopped being friends with her. I understand reasons why people cut themselves now, and feel stupid for not seeing it earlier and being a true friend and helping her. She goes to counseling and seems to be doing ok-ish, but I feel guilty for "abandoning" her, even though I don't feel like I will ever be buddies with her. She was never really nice to me anyway (bossy, secretive) so am I better off just going on my way and leaving the matter to older, resposible adults?

Ok... so I have this friend that moved away when I was young and we still email eachother. Lately we haven't been as good at writing and it had been almost 2 mo or so since I had wrote to him and he hadn't reasponded..
The night before valentines day I had a dream that I went to visit him and his family, (I never dream about him). It was a pretty vivid dream, there was one part where we were holding eachother for a long time, but I didn't stay very long in the visit. I woke up when I left their house.
But anyways the next morning I checked my email and he had written back to me! I thought that was interesting..

Many people believe that the USA brought down the Soviet Union when in fact it collapsed from the inside under the exact same conditions WE now face.

We have a $10.5 TRILLION debt and a budget shortfall of $750 BILLION...both new records. The only sector of the economy that is "growing" is the defense and energy sectors. Defense is now 40% of our economy...in other words we are "growing" our economy by fighting wars and borrowing from our future earnings. Any simpleton can see this is a recipe for disaster.

As far as the people/citizens in the USA go? They could care less what their government does as long as they don't have to think about it too much. It it is pretty clear that Americans have traded their conscious for overt consumerism...they would screw their own mom for a nice boat, a new SUV and a big bonus at the end of the year.

The train is off the tracks and I'm not sure it can be put back on now. The embedded corruption of "the Military-Industrial Complex" is evil.
