Sexual attraction is essential for the survival of an animal species. That is how all the animal species including humans evolved. Plant species and lower forms of animals have different mechanism of survival and evolution. More over sexual reproduction ensures genetic variability which is the raw material for evolutionary progress.

Evolution wise: women want a strong mate to protect her and her children. Back in the cave days, it was dangeous with bears and beasts roaming around. Feminists don't like to admit it, but evolution wise, women needed men to be strong and tough to survive tough living conditions.
