I love going barefoot, and I sometimes walk barefoot down my street wearing only a T -- shirt and a pair of cutoff blue jeans . Would YOU be willing to put on a T -- shirt and a pair of cutoff blue jeans and walk barefooted down the street ? One rule I have is that everyone who sees you has
to be able to see that you're barefooted . Would you walk down the street barefooted ? How many of you have actually done this ?

As a young woman I want to be able to come to a point in my life where I finally live the plan I have worked out for my life, so that there's is balance mentally, spiritually, physically, socially and emotionally within myself and in the things I do. We as women have the keys deep inside to empower ourselves but we can’t seem to put one foot in front of the other to open that door for so many different reasons, i.e. relationships, drugs , family issues, negative friends, lack of a good education, support from loved ones etc... I’m lucky enough to have the support from the women in my lives, which have helped in guiding me in becoming the person I want to be but there are so many girls who don’t have even one person that can be there for them.
My questions then to you are as women what steps have you taken or are taking in upgrading yourselves? What seeds can we plant to ensure that other girls blossom into positive, intelligent and strong women living the lives that want to live?

do people act cocky because they really like and are proud of themselves, or because they really don't like themselves, so they act offensively and do things to try to make themselves look better and compensate for their shortcomings? would a person who is genuinely secure in themselves have to boast around and show off and offend other people?

I saw an episode of "Alias" followed by "Buffy the Vampire Killer" and some cop show that show women beating up men. I wonder how delusional they are making girls. It could lead to a false sense of security.

abortion has had on any females out there willing to share their experiences ? I know it's a touchy subject but I'm doing a study on how abortions have affected women's lives and why did they have them done at that period in their lives ? I know several people who have had them done and some have had trouble conceiving or carrying a child in the future. Some have gone on to have healthy children later in life. Some can't get rid of the guilt and shame. Some have serious psychological problems because they had an abortion. Some people have only had one when they were pretty young and some women have had several and I know of one lady that had a total of 8 abortions and she also had 6 living children to raise. In my opinion, she should have had tubal ligation a long time ago. What are your thoughts on this touchy topic ??
