Oh baby it's the whole package. Men(and I am one) need everything a women has to offer, Not just the sex. We need the gray matter of the brain, the warmth of a smile, the nurturing of those she loves, the intuition of knowing what her man or children need and the ability to juggle the whole thing for the life of the relationship. OH did I mention Sex is good also!

Besides the obvious & known facts, I would have to say that each person describes a woman as how they see a woman should be.. Some call a woman a "woman" because she built and beautiful.
Some call a "woman" cause she takes care of the household and children.. Others call a "woman" because she puts out..
Others might call a "woman" cause she is modest.
Depends on who you are asking..
Men & Women, how would you define a woman?

genetically the chromosomes XY is the combination to form a female.... once this happens, the whole body is developed different, giving us the shapes we all know, then our society and culture makes us feminine, making us follow the path the rest of women have followed. If you leave a girl surrounded by male, you are going to end up with a male trapped in a woman's body.

To be a woman is not having testicles. Breasts to feed our children. Having periods. Giving birth. And sadly living longer then our husbands. And the ability to control most of our men from birth to death.

I think its the whole package. It is our emotions, our minds and it is definitely our sexual organs. A large part of being a woman is the ability to give birth, it gives us a whole different perspective on things to men.

To the scientific community, there is a propensity to address only the obvious physical differences. However, there are plenty of non-physical, gender-based tendencies which are normal patterns of everyday life.

"is it gender (the brain part of you )..." YES. The 'trappings' can be surgically altered. Biology is no longer simply assumed to be 'destiny' (as it has been in the past). You are correct in making this important distinction.

Both. Female species are born with a natural disposition to nurture and protect life. Biologically, their bodies facilitate that ability. I would assume, that is part of the human experience, in being a woman. I assume that the empowerment to create life has an profound impact on existence of what being a woman is. Men can only write their names is the snow, when they pee.

It's gender and gender identity, the way you were raised (your surroundings), and of course, the physical aspects that make you a woman.

There is no answer to that question.... the terms have been constructed by society what makes a man a man? except thinkin about the oobvious it goes much deeper. think about trangendered babies who are born with both sexes what makes them a man or a women, it is mearly what society tells us and makes us behave and believe according to " their norms" what is a man and what is a women......
