my daughter needs to come up with a topic for her 6th grade science fair. we cannot think of anything. her teacher does not want it to be too hard or too easy. it also cannot be volcanoes or tornadoes. any suggestions welcome thanks.

I know how important keeping eye contact is during interviews, but I have a hard time doing it. My social phobia is the problem, so I was wondering if any other people w/ SF had any tips to help stop all the anxious feelings. I have to be interviewed next week as a part of the application process for the NCSSM (a difficult-to-get-into highschool). Thanks for any help.

ok, i just got back from checking the mail and when i came back there was a HUGE SCARY spider on my bed!!!! thank goodnesss it wasnt moving!! i dont know what its doing now, im afraid to go back to my room. im scared of spiders, and theres one in my room. what would u do in this situation?

They covertly harrass you untill you stand up to them and then they tell you that you have a problem. They want to bully until you show them they can't bully you and then somehow your wrong for standing up to them. You don't even have to have a temper or anything. They will say something like "Whats your problem" when they already know

To make a long story short my uncle molested me when I was like 7 and I told my aunt and she told me not to tell anyone because he would go to jail. Now many years have past he is dead, but not my aunt and I can't stand being around her!!!! My family knows about it and are not very supportive, and can't understand why I don't like her. They try to push me to be around her, except my mom she's not like that. But this is the only way I can really get my feelings out, I am seeing a therapist. Is there something wrong with me, that I don't want to be around my aunt? because they make me feel like it is me with the problem, i just don't know anymore, and it is really bothering me.

Today a group called The Third Way (which calls itself left-of-center) released a research report saying that Democrat populism is bogus, and that the US middle class is clearly getting richer and is FAR better off than people have been claiming, with 55% more average income than often cited -- and for the typical family, ZERO credit card debt.

This will NOT make the Europeans happy.

Is this group of left-wing democrats shilling for the evil Republicans or are they correct?

I keep having this dream where I fall off a really high cliff and fly through the air like I'm skydiving. I always land unhurt and safe in this field type thing. My sister is there when I land and she is always with her friend Kara and Kara's family. I always ask to use her cell phone to call my mom and then my mom answers and says Hello and I say Hello.....and then I wake up. Does this mean anything? I have had this dream 4 or 5 times.

it's been a while since I'm seeing a psychologist to advise me in some event going in my life ....she is a young pretty psychologist , ..she could even be as young as I am ...but, I have never once have any kind of feelign for her ...but after a while in seeing her, I am starting to feel slight feelings inside me , and starting to look at her differently ...I think I have a crush on her ...but she's married and even have a baby ...well, it's just impression ...but I don't intend to pursue anything with her ...for 2 reasons ...

I have asked a plethora of questions to all you wonderful people on social issues, And none of you(men or women) has even come close to saying what i was so desperately wanting to hear , that despite a multitude of bad things and imbalance and disharmony between the two sexes there will come a time when both the sexes would love and compliment each other why? because god made you like that.One of the comments from my questions in the past"An address to women - Apology" was:
"The word woman was made as a compliment to the word man."
I'am grateful of your answers and the emotions and sincereity behind them but i was hoping to get some strength from you people in reaffirming my conviction that men and women were made for each other and therefore it is futile to hurt each other.

I know i might sound childish but i dont care , but i guess now i know that the thing we cherish the most is what we hurt the most.
