Seriously, reproduction is part of the definition of life. I watch the extent of the animal kingdom, where males knock the crap out of each other just to claim the right to have sex. As we are a part of the Animal Kingdom, is it true...that its really all about sex?

I would have to go with food, water, and whatever else you need to live. Afterall, what good is sex when you're dead.

In the animal kingdom, females don't want a sickly mate. They want a healthy mate so they can have good, strong, healthy offspring. The males that win the females (and the privilege to have sex with them) are usually the healthier, stronger males...
You get healthier and stronger by having food and water...

Many human things are more important. If you disagree and you have a grandfather ask him the same question.Your genitals may make you hot, but sex begins in the mind. Many people can not have sex for many reasons, if you stop and think about that, your comment above implies they may as well shoot themselves for just like the animals, their purpose in life, is just die, right?
Love is the greatest of these. Love does not mean sex, love means caring for someone as much as yourself and even more.
Time will prove that to you.

Water and food are more important than sex. As for sex, the will to survive is almighty strong and that drive is the sex drive. Yes, it is powerful but not the most important thing.

In a nutshell...yes!!
Basic human instinct is for the survival of our species and the only way for a species to continue and to evolve is through reproduction. Food, shelter, clothing..etc. leads to our own survival so we may continue the perpetuation of our species.
That and it's fun as hell

Depends on who you ask I guess - For example evolutionary psychologists will say nothing is but humanists will say fullfilling your potential in life. But technically its not even about sex - it's about passing on your genes into the gene pool.
