The way I see it, people get plastic surgery to look better, in order to attract people they didn't think they could get before. So whats the difference between the person you knew before the surgery who is now attracted and the person that you didn't think you could get before?

this means that the person who's attracted to you afterwards only cares about physical appearance and isn't worth your time.

First, the person who got plastic surgery is uncomfortable with who they are unless they have some severe deformity. Second, the person who is NOW interested is just showing their true colors, that they are shallow and can't see past the skin.

Well.. there is actually a difference. It depends on what kind of person you are wanting. If someone only decinded to be w/ you b/c you now look the way they want; I would steer clear of that person. Listen, a person that only cares for you b/c of teh way you look doesn't truely care for you at all. YOu have to have enough self confidence to know that there is someone out there for you,,, that WILL accept you for you! You don't have to change your appreance... all that is going to happen is you will find yourself w/ some shallow person who is not nice for you and only uses you for looks! Beauty is in the inside... if you want a good relationship w/ someone.. you must realize this...Beauty doesn't last forever... Neither does a relationship based on looks... here is one of my fave quotes...
"Anything that cares only for beauty can't handle getting close, because from up close, nothing is only beautiful!"

There's no difference. People are just attracted to what they're attracted to. I can see where the answers might be heading, to someone being shallow, but almost everyone is visual to an extent.

nothing I suppose, but I want people to like me for me & not my looks , so thank God my Hubby finds me beautiful
& that I DO NOT need plastic surgery . ( I'd never get it anyway!)

that is shallow, if they liked you before it did not matter, if they did not pay any attention to you, they did not go beyond facial or physical looks as to what was inside.
