There are three reasons why you hear more about women raping men these days than before. First, it used to be more of a social taboo to report such a thing. Men were taught, "never hit a lady," so they wouldn't fight back. Second, the executive and judicial branches of local governments are getting more such reports, now that men are willing to admit the facts, so the number of charges filed has increased recently. Third, among the various advances toward gender-based equality in the twentieth century, women's health, fitness, and self-defense classes made it more likely for a woman's strength and skill to be adequate for her to carry out such a crime.

One valid gender-based distinction, however, is that when men rape women, the men are usually doing it out of a desire to phyiscally dominate the woman. It's not a crime of lust as much as it is of power. On the other hand, when women rape men for the same "power" reasons, male victims are more likely to enjoy the event than female victims would. Therefore, the other respondants' answers regarding "men can't be raped because every sexual encounter they have is consentual" may also hold some weight.

yes it happened to a boy i know, he wasnt consenting, but hed had a few so he didnt put up much of a fight, she took him into a disused scrap yard, and jumped on top of him his hands were under him and she aroused him he did say no and stop but she didnt, it was only because she heard someone running by the gate she did stop, and just in case he said anything she went straight to her bf and told him that this lad raped her, so not only did he get raped but he got a hiding the same night , then when he was staggering home he got arrested too, he was too embarrassed about events to have said anything buut i t came out in the end it was her also the witnesses came forward (the running she heard were a cpl gone in the yard for a grope and tickle the saw and heard everything) shes in jail now, tho the bf still beleives her and this lad is getting major harrassment even now

Well physically it may be difficult to force yourself on a man, especially if he's big. Maybe if he gets intoxicated... some women in power can make advances and that would be a point for us women who have been subjected to the opposite for years, basically "sleep with me and you get job etc."
But a woman can rape a man psychologically as well, what do you think of that? Violating him in many ways without overt threats. That would be nice , get things from him like money is that a form of rape??

Yes a woman can rape a man!! It is not common though! I wouldn't imagine too many men reporting it though if they did get raped by a women. But then saying that I once saw on crimewatch (many years ago) the case of a man who was raped by a woman!!

For Billythekid was the movie called crash?

A woman can, but if the law sees it that way is the next question.
Also if a man is raped, he is more reluctant to report it because of the idea that he will not be believed.
In some places males are not raped.

I have had this argument with my guy friends on more than one occasion.

The first thing to talk about is whether or not a girl really can have sex with a guy without his consent. I say yes. He doesn't have to actually want to go through with it to be turned on and erect. He could find sex before marriage morally repugnant, for instance, but still find the girl sexy as hell. I believe that if she wanted to she could take advantage of that.

And that would be wrong. But as far as I can tell, it is not "rape," because that is still definined as penetration. It is, however, still prosecutable as sexual assault.

Yes, a woman can rape a man but why do you need to know about it?

I remember one woman raped a man by using a well-known method for raping men. So, he died. It was about 15 years ago.

Do not play such games.

P.S. She kept his testicles very tight with a rope or something else to keep his penis erected. It was too tight and he died.

Unless she uses some kind of drugs so he gets an erection.... if not, the rape could be done inserting something into the man's butt, I think that would be more of a rape, cause the man would try to avoid it, always.

I'm thinking that movie..... ermm.... where the author has a car crash on icey road returning home after finishing writing his book in mountains... damn i can't remember the name... one word. She ties him up and keeps him captive and breaks his ankles too... could have easily raped him... it was always an undercurrent that she might.

Anyway I think its possible... and if it were a woman like her... then it really would be rape.

It was on trial in New York many years ago some lesbians beat up this one guy and said to have sex with her or he would killem with a weapon so the judge said that he was still a willing partner to have an erection was a compliance and so threw it out of court.
