There's a million and one things that disprove creationism. I've not come across this one before so make it a million and two things.

In the womb, humans are always female before they turn into a male. You can see it by the fact that looking at the ovaries and uterus, it's almost like an internal penis.

Both men and women have nipples where they are due to some line thing. I can't remember what it's called, but I'll just call it a nipple line.

While humans have evolved so that there are only two on the front for babies, you can see that with deformities, some people have a third nipple whether on their chest or their back around the same height that normal nipples are.

It's amazing how similar our structures are when you look past the male/female, human/animal concept.

I don't see why we can't possibly have evolved from SOME breed of primate, because a lot of the time we act like them.

There are a couple of theories behind this, some secular and some not.

1. God gave us nipples to test our faith when it came down to this issue.

2. God's true creationism is actually evolution and that the translations of the bible aren't and shouldn't be literal.

3. It was some other God or Goddess who actually created us.

4. There is no God and we evolved.

5. Men evolved from women.

5. We are continuing to evolve and someday both genders may end up being very similar in terms of reproduction.

6. Because fetal development starts off as female but a chemical trigger set off by the Y chromosome changes the development from female to male. (This is actually what happens in fetal development but it doesn't really answer your question because it could be divine creation or evolution that caused this process.)

I don't know about disproving creationism but i DO know why men have nipples.

It is no secret that in the womb there is a period of time before our sexual organs develop so, for the sake of argument we are all female. The organs are there but it is the Y chromosome that tells the sexual organs to move to the outside to form the penis and testicles. During this time when we appear to be asexual is when the nipples develop, just in case there is no Y present and them BAM you would be female.

That is why men have nipples.

The fact that you're breathing proves something created you. As far as nipples, God knows everything, he knew Adam was going to mess up, just like you know an Alchoholic is going to drink whatever is given to him (not saying Adam was an alchoholic). I'm saying God knew he was going to create Eve sooner or later and gave Adam nipples, because he needed a base for Eve to create bosoms...which he knew would be a good use for thier children later on. When you look at a woman compared to man, she has everything he has, but just better, bigger, more beautiful and gorgeous. That is why woman, just plain physically always have the upperhand. Her intelligence was upgraded too, as we are able to do a million things at once, and guys can only focus and do one thing at a time...

haha interesting point I wonder what the point to having them is.

It seems that human embryos develop mammary tissue before they bother to check on whether they're going to be male or female and start modifying the basic plan with surges of this or that hormone. After only a few weeks, milk ridges form -- two stripes of tissue that start in the armpits, curve out over the chest, go straight down the stomach and then veer in toward the groin, ending somewhere high on each thigh. Later the milk ridges regress to some extent, usually leaving us with just two nipples.

I found that on a site I was thinking it might be part of the cause to it but wasnt sure.

God took the time to make a helluva Big bang and then had the patience (a day is like a million years to God) to let it Evolve!! What's the problem? Nature provides a lot of strange characteristics for some awfully strange creatures. It runs amok sometimes too!! It all works out in the end. Poof!! @8-) Peace.

I don't think so. It took millions of years to get this far, and I have a little proof of it myself, in the fact that I have only 2 wisdom teeth, not 4. I think because men's nipple are not only useless, they are also harmless, unlike wisdom teeth, and may be one of the last things to go, the appendix and wisdom teeth will go first.

Men have nipples because their anotomy is based off the female anotomy. Since women have nipples to beast feed and such, men were stuck with them, even though there is no complet reason for them, except to maybe have a pericing or such.

Technically it's because the embryo developes the same way to a point when differentiation in sex occurs, thus we have the same number of limbs and eyes, etc. (And yes, women point out that the female is the most evolved, I would argue it's a mutation :P )
