When I dream of having an argument with someone and it ends up being a fight, I can't quite follow through with my punches. It's almost exactly like trying to throw fast punches under water, it's difficult and you feel like you're going in slow motion. The person getting punched is not getting hurt and I feel so drained and exhausted. I used to always have dreams of driving in a car and when coming to a stop light, the brakes would never work. Now the recurring one is not being able to punch. Anyone ever had dreams like this or know what it means?

One usually comes across certain kind of people, who are just bundles of ego and always think that they know best and are right. Moreover, they show no signs of incipient intelligence. It is frustrating to reason with them since all they understand is the language of right and wrong. How can one deal with such people without impairing the relationship? - they can not be avoided!

I'm in a long distance relationship, and it's a very hard situation to be in. I found out that my girlfriend had a slight make out session with someone at a party she went to. It bothers me a lot, and I was wondering if I was overreacting? Because she is the kind of person who likes to be free, and not be restricted, so I'm worried that in the future she will do something worse. I have talked to her about it, and she is sorry, but it still worries me. Do I have cause for concern?

K- girls are always talking about how badly they want a really great guy, yes? They also always say that really great guys are rare (I'll agree with this). If we assume these two things to be true, then there is a 'shortage' of guys. Girls I know always talk about how badly they want that special guy, and how much they deserve it. This will sound callous, but I find it a legitimate point- do they deserve good men? There are some women I know who wanted to date me for years, and I always turned them down because they did nothing to command my respect. I am friend with many girls- they all talk about wanting great men, but as I see it, they seem to want it on a silver platter, like they DESERVE it simply by being them. If great guys are a rarity, strive to be a rarity in yourself- this is what I believe. Do you agree? I'm asking this because I have to vent my frustration in a non harmful manner and to see what other people have to say.

In your opinion why does it appear that American Christianity has become the love child of Capitalism, individualism and greed. I have purused the ghettos of Christian television and have become appalled at the heresy.

Prosperity Preachers like Creflo Dollar, Jamal Bryant, Keneth Hagin, Oral Roberts and Fred Price and etc depict God as a grand slot machine; If you tithe to the church GOD will bless you with a Benz, Bentley, new house, car and more bling bling.

It seems that the thesis of there message is that to have those things are a sign of divine blessings and favor. DOES THIS POP-CULTURAL MESS BOTHER ANYONE BUT ME??????

Does it even bother anyone that these beautiful celebraty preachers who dress like characters on soap operas are not even smart and do not have earned accredidated degrees? Can't congregants make a case to sue them for spiritual malpractice? I think the gospel that they preach is the equavelant of spiritual homocide. (murdering the spiritually weak)

As a child, i was born gifted with arts, from music, painting, sculpture, composing, singing and other form of arts at a very very young age. But as i realize that having to be gifted had its drawbacks. Being artistic means being sensitive in a way, so it really is a pain knowing that getting hurt emotionally hits me back at 200% more then what i should really feel, and it eats me 24 hours a day. Often i ask myself, why was i given this gift. i would rather be normal and live a life of simplicity then being born with special talents yet wit a price to pay. If there any gifted people out there who would like to share their personal experience? thank you.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me why I did something wrong (several times). I knew it was wrong & that it would hurt someone special to me? but still I did it not once but repeatedly! I did get arrested & still paying for it. I know I was wrong with what I was feeling that led me to do what I did. I can't figure it out...I know she wasn't using me & was going to dump me when I was of no use to her anymore, but it was how I was feeling. I tried to tell her I had a lot on my mind & needed to talk to her, but she didn't allow me. So it built up & poisoned me to the breaking point emotionally of sneaking to her home & break windows like some hurt little boy several times. How could I have done that to someone who meant more to me than anything even my own life?

From what I understand, in a two man relationship, there is a more feminine male and a more masculine male. I understand why the feminine male would be attracted to the masculine male. But, why would the masculine male be attracted to a feminine man and not a woman?

My job is boring at worst and tedious at best; I'm newly separated and reconciliation is no where on the horizon; my money is not right (and I don't even have a fantastic pair of shoes to show for it);I have no social life to speak of (when I was with my husband I was basically cut off from almost everyone); my children aren't doing well with the separation, and I'm tired all the time
