A wife is confronted as to why she cheated and she responds by saying," You're not taking my son away from me." She has a genuine concern for her child, but is this guilt or shame?

It could mean a lot of things.

1) She thinks you will immediately divorce her.
2) She doesn't think it can be worked out.
3) She's too worried to think.

As for if it's concern for the kids, I would say yes. I would have said I get the house. And you would have to talk to her to know about if it was guilt or shame.

Hope you can work it out.


But on a lighter note, did you notice how the black hair of our icons is blue? Weird....

It means she is admitting to cheating, she knows it is too late to turn back and is trying to protect her interests. I'm not sure about guilt or shame, but definitely only thinking about herself and not you. HTH.

Hey that was more so funny than serious. But She's guilty on all accounts when she responds like that. She's cheating and she'e a selfish *itch. She could of said she wasn't cheating or something else like that. She gave herself up.

I don't think it's guilt or shame which is very bad. I would certainly have to fight her for custody.
