My family left Montreal when I was only five years old, they moved to a town of 3000 people in rural Nova Scotia. My baptist childhood friends abandoned me at 13 years. In Nova Scotia I find the people lacking in common interest, peasants, and sexually unattractive. I only have one friend, he is in Ontario for university. In elementary people thought I was evil, in high school I had no close friends. I kept bad company last year at university--- betrayed by friends... I went back to the same school last September, fell in love with an exchange student----- turns out she did not ever love me-- just wanted to use my body for sex--- (the closest I have ever been to someone-- yet she did not excite me-- as she did not love me) My only relationship destroyed, I descended into utter depression (Ive been taking the meds-- they don't do a thing.) left university... it was not fulfilling. I am19, lonely, and intend to back to long lost monteal to create a new life. Does this seem right to you?

I'm really struggling with moving on. I am in therapy, individual, and group. I also take medication, but I'm still having a hard time. How do you or did you get past the feelings of being inferior and unloveable?

Lately, I've been pretty depressed. I wanted this weekend to be great, because it was a three-day weekend, and I really didn't have very much homeowkr...a very rare occurrence. So I wanted to enjoy as much as possible with my fmaily, but something insdie me kept me from being happy. I was depressed all the time, and my family members have been noticing that I'm much quieter now, and don't smile as much as I used to. I find a lot of things boring now, and have no interest in things I used tobe interested in. I'm trying to recover from anoreixa right now, so maybe that has something to do with it. Every mealtime with y fmaily is no longer something I look forward to, because I'm constantly trying to eat less than what they give me but they watch so closely. How can I fix my mood?

When people with multi personalities become one of their personalities their physical body can also experience amazing affects. One personality can be almost blind while another can have eagle type vision. One can have diabetes while all the others have no problems with their sugar blood levels. One personality can be extremely smart while another appears slower. How does the average person without the mind illness of being a split personality become aware of the changes this person is capable of making unconsciously? I tend to believe, if we can find the answer to this we can wipe out many of the illnesses we face today. Any ideas?

Here is the problem: I am such a shy person. I don't have too many interests, and I'm not very witty. I have been with my gf for awhile now, and I don't understand how she puts up with me. I never have much to say, but I love her and her daugher so much. There are times when we just sit there and say nothing. I've asked her about all this, and surprisingly, she says that whenever she thinks about me, she smiles. She says that she doesn't know how I can be with her. She is insecure too. She says that she loves me, but how? She is not the funnest person either, but when she talks to some of her friends, I notice that she smiles and laughs alot. I wish I can make her laugh like her friends do. She seems to have so many stories to tell about her life, but I never have much to say because I've had a bad past. I do sweet things for her such as interact with her daughter (I'm always fun with her daughter), take her out, and take care of her when she's sick. Can we survive?

At the risk of sounding odd, I can 'hear' a spider. Whenever one is around, my left inner ear becomes agitated and the sound is similliar to water in the ear.

Anyone else ever have anything like this?

What REALLY annoys me is when people overuse the words "retarded" and "gay" and cusswords. And also when people use them the wrong way like, "That show is reatarded/gay!". IT IS SO, SO ANNOYING.
