Why do prostitutes and prostitution exist?

because we live in a world that is afraid of our basic impulses. They mix up religion and rules in it and then there are problems.

Well to some extent or mostly prostitutes and prostitution occur because if a women needs money to feed her family and she does not get a suitable job and no one is there to support her and her family so definetly she ends up being a prostitute

Business is about providing products or services that people need, for a fee. Sexual desire is a natural, urgent biological need. It is this need that causes humans to want to procreate, which is vital to the survival of the species. But people do not always have fulfilling sexual relationships. Hence the need, which professionals are able to fill. Because religions are against prostitution, it is usually considered illegal, so the business goes underground, unregulated and related to crime. It is a way for people to make money.
It fills a need - if "clients" didn't use prostitutes there wouldn't be any prostitutes.

men need sexual.release prostitutes give them that release without question. no strings attached. the men can indulge in all methods of sex pay the price and walk away satisfied, its been that way forever and will continue forever
