1 dollar = 0.7729 euros
1 euro = 1.29 dollars

100 is number of cents in a dollar, or euro-cents in a euro.

French Frank used to be like 1/5 of a dollar back when they had it.

In Google, there is a great way to check currency rates.

If you type "1 US Dollar [or USD] in Euros" into the search bar you get "1 U.S. dollar = 0.774773379 Euros" as an answer.

If you type the opposite, you get "1 Euro = 1.2907 U.S. dollars".

You can use virtually any major currency on the market in order to generate an answer. Just follow that format.

The rate changes. No, the Euro is worth more. As of this writing 1 Euro (EUR) = 1.29185 US Dollar. So figure the dollar is worth about 30 cents less than the Euro

One US dollar = approx. 0.77 euro cents
One euro = approx. $1.30 US

The values are not exact to the penny because the exchange rate changes a little every day, but the above figures should be helpful.

On a menu, if a portion of, say, escargots costs 10 euros, that would come out to about $11.30 US. Hint: For your menu use rounded off prices rather than amounts like 10.35 euro (only an example) just because it's easier to make the coversion to dollars without having to use a calculator. 10.50 euro is easier to convert to dollars than is 10.35 euro.

Well reccently the dollar has been fluctuating badly against the major currencies. At this time 1euro is worth 1.3 dollars. So $1 is about 77 euro cents. These are todays current values. For your project you better to assume that $1 buys 80euro cents(ie $1.25)
