If you suffer from a drug/alcohol addiction or know someone that does, are you a very smart or creative person?? There are 8 siblings in my family and all of the ones that are like super talented and smart all suffer from addictions, that it has kept them from becoming something really great, it is VERY discouraging, I am wondering if there might be a connection......just curious. Only respond if you are replying about yourself or someone you knew before the addiction. Thank you.

No, seriously. How to wake up? As soon as the alarm goes off, my mind makes up a very interesting and - believable - story that integrates the alarm in the dream. Like it is an alarm signal in the war. One time, I dreamt that I actually turned it off when I didn't.
Even if I manage to turn it off (snooze), I typically press it 10-20 times (even though the alarm is in another room), then go back to bed.

Ideas?

The USA used free forced laborers for hundreds of years. The lived in concentration camps called "plantations" and were subjected to inhuman abuse and living conditions. How much would they have made if they were payed? How much, in dollar amount, are the owed?

Let's face it, overpopulation is a serious problem. We're running out of natural resources, people are getting a lot older than before and there's hardly any space left for more people. At one point in time, we have to... "remove" people. Now, I´m a very ethical person and I don´t promote any form of murder in any way (aside from euthanasia, if that´s spelled correctly, but that's a different discussion). But if you look at this problem at a purely rational basis. What would be the best method to prevent the human race from extinction through malnutrition?

So the question is:

How do we counter overpopulation by ALL means necessary?

I have an eating disorder and I think this is why I'm depressed. Ever since I gained weight, I can't be happy with how I look. I plan to lose about 30 pounds to make myself happy. even though it is supposedly not healthy. But how else am I supposed to be happy with myself? For those who never had an eating disorder, it may be hard to understand.

I keep dreaming that I own a house with many rooms, all furnished with nice victorian furniture. Some of the rooms are haunted. Some you get to through secret passages. Others I don't even know exist and are not lived in. I am always showing people my house and I find new rooms all the time, sometimes a second kitchen and living room, and always more bedrooms. None of them are used although they are fully furnished, with oriental rugs and expensive vases and things.

Started seeing this guy, not serious yet, barely 1 month. I really like him. He is appreciative of the time I spend with him and is always gentleman. He also calls/texts me everyday. I really admire these things.
We were supposed to get together one day, but that day I had to call him to find out that he had drank too much the night before and that he was not feeling up to it. I was really disappointed. He said he wanted to get together with me in a couple of days, but I couldn't give him a definite answer yet.
If I forget about him, am I being too hard and expecting too much? I know that everyone falls short of perfection and I am not perfect, but part of me feels that if I do not take this seriously enough that I am setting myself up for more disappointment if the relationship becomes more serious. What I mean is, will he be responsible?

On the other hand, I like him so much, but I'm afraid that I'm searching for a reason to excuse him for this. I don't want to settle.
