I believe that most people are afraid of the unknown. That is why night is scarier they day. Since black represents night is can be considered the scariest. It is used most frequently to instill fear. For instance pirates used black flags to scare their victims into surrendering, The grim reaper is always portrayed as wearing black and seeing a completely black animal was considered a bad omen

The colour of fear is the same as your favorite colour.
Before you scoff, consider this:
Fear is the mind's way of keeping you out of danger. It holds you back from doing what you want to do, because of what _might_ happen if you fail, or if something goes wrong.
Most people think of fear as being a big, ugly, scary monster. But I think that fear is actually something far more sinister.
Fear is something that holds you close. Something that is fair, inviting, and which people naturally cling to, because it is, by its very nature, protective. It is like your mother, your big brother, and your best friend. It is like your lover, because it will always be there for you if you but let it become aware that you need it.
Because of the nature of fear, it will take a form that is the most appealing to the person who feels it. Fear of falling off a cliff makes you think of the safety of being further from the edge. Fear of flying makes you think of the firm ground under your feet when you stand on the floor of the departure lounge.
Fear of a guy or girl you like makes you think of not talking to them, in case you say something wrong and screw up your chance with them.
Fear is not the repulsive, violent monster that most people think it is. But it is just as vicious, and just as evil. It knows you too well, and knows how to make you want to cling to it. This is why many people are so controlled by their fear.
They don't know that their fear wears their favorite colour. :-)
Hope this helps!

i believe the color of fear is black. black can trigger the imagination faster than any other color. black can represent a lot of things in a person's mind. as a kid most of us probably have been scared in the dark or probably have a time where we went to trick or treat in the dark and been scared out of our wits. we could have be expose to something that makes us scare when we are alone and in the dark because the dark or the color black reminds us of the dark. the color black is like a screen for the imagination to grow and take place. the color black make the imagintion come true and it is the imagination and the color black that brings most fears out. i believe so.

It's a film.
Yes, The Color of Fear is an insightful, groundbreaking film about the state of race relations in America as seen through the eyes of eight North American men of Asian, European, Latino and African descent. In a series of intelligent, emotional and dramatic confrontations the men reveal the pain and scars that racism has caused them. What emerges is a deeper sense of understanding and trust.

Black. Or very dark blue. It is in the mode of darkness. Though their are things we should fear and that is different. We should fear anything that separates from Truth and God. But if we take full shelter of God also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. then their is nothing to fear, otherwise we are in illusion. go to harekrishnatemple.c for details. Read Bhagavad Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada Who was completely fearless.

I don't think fear has a color. I think it is more of a warning sent out by the Brain to alert us to pending danger.

It depends on your background and your own culture and how you were rasied up. The fear color is the one you learnt that is sign of fear in your childhood.

I think that depends on whose fear it is. My first thought to that question was red. Red represents dangerous or negative things, think about all the things that are red... hot emblems (like water faucets, fire, dollar balances (you are in the red), stop signs, danger signs, blood, sirens (red flashing lights), Red is a powerful color.

Depends of what fear you have. If someones afraid of drowning or water the color blue may trigger something in the brain. Or lets say someone was burned during a house fire the color orange or yellow may have the same effect. I dunno!
