We use to be alright, not very rich but affording in every way. We will be recieving money from the business but not now and it might take some time maybe 2 to 3 months, although, we have to pay our debts now. Our famly is worried on how to carry on and feel embarresed on what people think and we dont know currently how to pay them. I see my family and they very sad inside but they try and put a brave face outside. I am just so confused and helpless...Pls advice..

especially if you feel your personal life is basically gone down the drain. how can i still keep focussed and succeed without thinking...OMG i can't believe ____ did that or _____ did this. How could they do that to me? All this time I don't call or communicate and I feel I have reached the acceptance stage but no matter how much I try to not let it interfere with me now, it does bother me. I want to do well and not let it bother me and really be focussed without trying to figure out why things happened the way they did and what happened as nobody told me the entire story. I know it doesn't matter but my emotions are getting in the way of my dreams.

Women were relieved of any duties men could expect from a "real woman" with feminism. Now we are expected to buy the house and clean it too. On top of that if children are involved she can have hubby beeing removed anytime if he doesnt scrub hard enough at home after his shift. Why do men still have to be "real men" and do things like commit, take responsibility for a wife, although she doesnt really need alimony in the event of a break up because she can work now, beeing protective, defend the country when the $hit hits the fan (and Iam not talking about target practice with moving targets like in Iraq, Iam talking about all out war and draft), drown when there are not enough lifeboats ? Why is it basically politically incorrect to expect a 50s wife who scrubs but men still have to be 50s men "real men", which should happily give up their life for a woman when only one of the 2 can be safed, as seen on Titanic, only that we have 2006 now.

My Psych class has a game assignment where we are supposed to come up with a fun game (not board game) and I am not good at all with original entertainment ideas. This is only one of three Psychology projects that I have to do this semester and I would really appreciate any help. Anyone have a suggestion that could get me started?

All my entire life has been full of hatred and a very, very small amount of love. My parents were horrible role models and ever since my childhood I've only learned how to distrust people and never have meaningful relationships. I have since gone into deep depression but I don't want to see a damn doctor because that's about as useful as being hoped up on silly medication. Is there any way out of this...?

2 months ago, i met this girl who rocked my world. she is everything you could ever want and more. she liked me too, somewhat but was scared bc i was moving away (as i just graduated college and am going back home 500 miles away). so now she is dating someone else. and i am also trying to date other people, trouble is i can't forget her. i keep thinking about how my life would be with her, there is like something missing. i just graduated and always thought i'd be glad for that but now all i want is to go back in time. i can't tell her how i feel bc that would be unfair to her. she wrote to me recently that she has gotten over her guilt (i think for liking me while dating someone else but it could be for hurting mean) and that she is open to whatever i want to write but i don't know what this means. i am the most clean-cut, well-behaved kid but all i want to do is disappear into drugs or something, just to forget. what should i do??

This may be a confusing question. Is it possible to have zero communication. Communication doesn't have to be speaking, it can be emotions, the way you look at someone, or other expressions.

This is going to sound so out there but last night I dreamt that my father committed suicide by hanging himself from the rafters in my garage. My father is not depressed at all nor am I. The craziest thing about this dream was that for the first time I can remember, I dreamed in black and white. Does anyone know how to interpret this?

It would seem to me that raising the minimum wage would be the best way to solve the social ills in our societies. Welfare rolls would drop, the economy would be spurred by people that are now able to buy the basic necessities of life. The government would get more tax revenue and be in a position to drop taxes as a result of higher incomes and higher economic activity. Not to mention it is the right thing to do. The only drawback would be an immedite and temporary spike in inflation as employers pass on the increased costs. This increase can be accompanied by a coincidal corporate tax cut to accomodate increased business costs.

Please only educated responses please! I'm looking for figures.
