And who tells someone what they are buying as a gift anyway? She also told me that while enduring chemo therapy that she would shave her head in support. She did neither but I didn't expect her to either as she talks a good game but doesn't back up her actions. Why is this? Some desperate need for attention or acceptance??

I am venting more than actually asking because I don't think this question has a solid answer, but it seems my experience that when talking to a man (or boy- doesn't matter the age) he CAN NOT let the person he is talking to finish a sentence withought interrupting....this (I think) is the most annoying and disrespectful habit there is!

I honestly don't know where to start. Basically, I am in a relationship where my girlfriend and I don't communicate much. We never fight, she always asks me to go places with her, and we watch movies together. Honestly, I think sometimes we partake in activities that force us not to talk as if subconsciously we are both purposely picking such activities. She seems to laugh so much more with her friends, but she doesn't laugh very often with me. It seems like our relationship is very routine. We are very limited to some of the things we can do because she has cerebral palsy. She can walk, but she needs the assistance of crutches to do so. So, taking walks along the river or a bike trail to get fresh air is out of the question. I don't know what to do. I love her and her daughter so much, but I'm just not sure if she feels the same way. Sometimes, she makes it seem like she loves me back, but other times, she seems distant. I think she cares about me, but she may not be happy

There's no right or wrong answer; this is about what you personally think. An example is the idea of death from LSD overdose. Suppose someone says, "You can definitely overdose!!" and another, "You can't overdose!!" This is a factual contradiction, not a value judgment or opinion, ie. there is a right answer, and it may not be a simple one. What I want to know is how YOU decide what to believe when confronted with conflicting facts. Another example is whether or not MDMA causes brain damage. Or, for that matter, whether or not LSD causes brain damage. Don't talk to me about what the answer is unless you're explaining *why* you believe it. That's what I'm looking for. You do not have to use these examples.

Are the women in denial or something? all you have to do is lose weight, shave your beard and stop crying over your period. I cannot stand when a woman complains that she cannot find a nice guy. Stop trying to be equal and put some makeup on.

It all happened when I went vacation to Thailand this new year eve - there I met this Russian girl Sveta and spent the best moments of my life with her - too bad, she is a hooker and that too has been trafficked from her native Uzbekistan by Bangkok underworld - she told me that she can secure release and she has her own passport if somebody gives her $4000 -

My only concern is HIV/AIDS - of course, she was a well-heeled prostitute and Bangkok is full of whores and many are safe - and I always used CONDOM with her. But, she was innocent I guess - I mean my wallet with money was always there but she never touch those things - she seems to be a GENUINE person.

I am not rich but is it worth taking another trip to go and secure her release - being a hooker doesn't change her as a person I guess - most Russian girls don't choose this trade on their own will.

Should I contact the Embassy of Uzbekistan? Will they help me out in such a case?

that good looking people can have low self esteem?

2007-01-08 04:24:53 · 13 answers · asked by Anonymous in Psychology

It’s just most of my life I have had low self-esteem and no confidence. But this has recently changed and now I am more confident than I have ever been in my life, so much so, that I think I am starting to feel cocky with my new found confidence. Is it normal to turn cocky if you have never had confidence before? I mean like actually telling someone how I feel about them to their face. I have never felt that confident about doing that before. How can I stop getting carried away with my new found confidence and not turn in to a horrible person?

When I was in my teens, my older brother and his friend called me "Dog", based on the Foghorn and Leghorn cartoon (have no idea why).

Anyway, one incident stands out in my mind ... my brother's friend started singing "How much is that doggie in the window, ruff, ruff" as I washed dishes by the kitchen window. I am now afraid to go near windows in my own home now.

I just can't let it go even though I know I am a perfect 10 beauty (source = myself and a plethora of compliments over the years).

How do I overcome this?

I'm just curious to the general opinion. So much of the world, and especially America it seems, is so enthralled in themselves. We care less about our own children in many cases than we do our comfortablity and immediate satisfaction.
So is it wrong to put yourself over your co-habitants? Or is it wrong to put others in front of number one?

I don't want to be homosexual anymore. In life, I do not have or seek a partner, but I have dreams with other ppl involved. The others (gays) are always in trouble, not me. Why is that? Is it the influence of my thinking that makes the dream this way?
