It all happened when I went vacation to Thailand this new year eve - there I met this Russian girl Sveta and spent the best moments of my life with her - too bad, she is a hooker and that too has been trafficked from her native Uzbekistan by Bangkok underworld - she told me that she can secure release and she has her own passport if somebody gives her $4000 -

My only concern is HIV/AIDS - of course, she was a well-heeled prostitute and Bangkok is full of whores and many are safe - and I always used CONDOM with her. But, she was innocent I guess - I mean my wallet with money was always there but she never touch those things - she seems to be a GENUINE person.

I am not rich but is it worth taking another trip to go and secure her release - being a hooker doesn't change her as a person I guess - most Russian girls don't choose this trade on their own will.

Should I contact the Embassy of Uzbekistan? Will they help me out in such a case?

I hate to punch a hole in you balloon filled with happiness. She had some choices in Uzbekistan (Tashkent?) and she chose to be a hooker. This is a country where normal people really struggle to get by, so I am not blaming her for her choice. There are a lot or prostitutes there, but probably some of htem are independent workers and not so well connected with the Mafia. it is strange that she ended up in Thailand. Does Thailand have a shortage of hookers?
Look, I am going to give you advice from the heart here. If you love the girl, and you have $4000 to take a chance, then go for it, but make sure she understands that that is it. You cannot come up with another $4000 or more for the next round. The money should be enough to secure her release and her and her son's passage to the US on a tourist visa. You need to let her know in very clear terms that you are not rich, and further funds will not be forthcoming.
Personally, I am convinced it is a scam. This kind of scam is typical. Do not contact the Embassy of Uzbekistan. They are useless. She'll need to contact the American Embassy in Tashkent for a tourist visa, and if you get married before you come home, then things will also be complicated, because she'll have to make a trip to Moscow to have them process that. This will cost a lot of money. I am very doubtful about all of this.

I used to work in Thailand.
This is a tried and true scam. The Thai girls do it too.

Don't feel too bad, they're experts, you're not the first or last victim.

You are not the only guy she is playing, she is playing several gents at the same time with the same story.

In between fielding calls and emails from her would be life long lovers, she is sleeping with plenty of guys who know the score and just pay her hourly rate.

And that's not all! She also has a real boy friend who will share any money you send.

Know the score, pay for play if you like, but don't fall in love.

My advice to you would be to follow your heart. It does not matter what her chosen profession is as far as you falling in love with her. But on the money tip if I were you I would establish a relationship with her before I secured a release. You never know you might secure her release and she might run into the arms of another man. So just make sure that this girl feels that same about you as you do for her. And if you decide to help her make sure your money goes to only officials in the country who can help and not an agency trying to take you for a ride. I wish you all the luck in the world and I hope you find what you are looking for.

Peace

you're being conned mate. She'll take the money and both run or arise with another reason to desire money. Swallow your delight and admit she's lured you in and conned you. Sorry about this pal yet do not supply her a penny.

I would definitely contact the embassy. See if they can help you and check her story. I hope she's not laying a trap to get money from you. Also, you need to take her in for a medical exam. Hopefully, she has been truthful with you and you can help her.
Why are you going to prostitutes in the first place? You are playing a dangerous game.

Oh Boy...
Follow your heart, but do not ignore your head!
This is something that will forever change your life, quite possibly for the better, who knows..
Being a hooker does not mean your life is worthless, it simply means you are doing what you currently know how to do to ensure food on your table for yourself and your baby.
We are not on this earth to judge others!!
I would advise you to seek out legal advise, perhaps someone well versed in International Law.
Good Luck to you

Well, "true" love is unqualified love. So, if that fits the bill, bail her out of her situation, marry her, and raise "your" child in a loving and caring environment. Real love isn't a 50 / 50%proposition...sometimes it has to be 100 / 0%

If you start attaching conditions to her, your love, and the marriage, she'll be nothing more to you than a sex partner whom you can tolerate living with you till you're tired of her.

You can meet women who will be equals in a relationship, you know.
But if that's not what you want, thenyou need to send her the money you were saving to go see her and let her figure out how to use it to get to you.
If you can't trust her, then there really is no question here.

send her the $4000 + $2000 spending money, and two one way tickets to where you live. If she comes, then she is yours forever, if she doesn't, well, keep searching for your soul mate!

It sounds like she whipped it on you and now you're being scammed. I would keep my 4 grand and tell her thanks for the memories.
