Probably. That's a crazy sense though, sometimes I can imagine the food and imagine its scent but I'm sure that's what starving, hungry people do..

I am prone to seizures but I have never had that before,
maybe it is some food you haven't had in a long time and would like to have again.
Certain smells bother people with seizures.

If you are smelling it in your nostril then something is wrong as one cannot smell with their mind the smell only signal there.
