Conflicts within yourself. Conflict can occur between your personal drives and the social, political or economic regime you live in. The war might also represent a battle going on between your own gender identity and the opposite gender; between yourself and another person, or your conscious attitudes and your unconscious biological processes and intelligence.

They are events that had graphic images that were splashed all over the news and portrayed in movies. There are books and first hand accounts and memorials. It probably has some dream interpretation meaning, but from a very fast impression I would simply say I was dreaming about something I had seen and heard a lot about.

i had a WWII dream the other day, but then again i did fall asleep during band of brothers...

your subconscious will always reveal your true emotions, and the stage is not always important. what does the overall theme relay back to you when you put it into context? in my dream it ended when i had to cut a nazi's throat to keep him from breaking the lines. in my dream i had a lot of trouble getting the knife to do its job, and had to do it several times. it was hardest the first time trying to slash him, i mean it felt like i was trying to kill him with a plastic butter knife in slow motion. eventually i got the job done, and it got a lot easier and faster the more i kept slashing. whatever that means, the point im making your dreams probably don't have anything to do with actual history, my dream could have easily been in vietnam and me trying to slash the throat of a vietcong, or in seventh century england as a saxon trying to slash the throat of a roman soldier. your subconscious just needed an arena to fill in the background to the overall theme.

I do not know. I fought in Viet Nam and I can barley remember it, let alone dream about it. Talk to somebody who handles this sort of thing.
