Women were relieved of any duties men could expect from a "real woman" with feminism. Now we are expected to buy the house and clean it too. On top of that if children are involved she can have hubby beeing removed anytime if he doesnt scrub hard enough at home after his shift. Why do men still have to be "real men" and do things like commit, take responsibility for a wife, although she doesnt really need alimony in the event of a break up because she can work now, beeing protective, defend the country when the $hit hits the fan (and Iam not talking about target practice with moving targets like in Iraq, Iam talking about all out war and draft), drown when there are not enough lifeboats ? Why is it basically politically incorrect to expect a 50s wife who scrubs but men still have to be 50s men "real men", which should happily give up their life for a woman when only one of the 2 can be safed, as seen on Titanic, only that we have 2006 now.

Men do not have to be "real" in order to be men. Men are often vilified, belittled, insulted and demeaned because we hold certain of our characteristics to be dear to Us. Sounds not unlike some form of biggotry, doesn't it? Is a woman who wears make up as 'real' as one who does not? Is a false breasted woman fake ,or a "real" woman? Who determines the "official" policy on the subject? Is a Man any more or less of a man if He does not meet a Woman's standard of what an "Uber sexual" should be? I think not.
For the most part it is young females (the psuedo-feminists), who are intimidated by the concept of the "real man", primarily because they themselves have so little experience of being genuine or honest with society. Why think when You can read a magazine for You opinions. Why ask Men about life when TV will let You draw all the inferences that You need to get You from one day to the next. Why fight against misandry or bias when it might require You to go out and find answers for Yourself.
Men are "real men" if and when they actually believe in themselves when no body else seems to. Men are "real men" when They strive to achieve the unattainable without recourse to misrepresentation of the facts, the casting of aspersions or the flagrant disregard of the rights, feelings hopes. dreams or aspirations of others.
Would You accuse Me of being a 'real man' if I ran into a burning building to save the life of a child whose parents I did not even know? Of course You would because I was being a "macho male".
Yes there are "real men" out there, they are called people who don't need Your, or society's permission to be Themselves, and to have a little bit of fun (at Their own expense) whilst living Their lives. Simple, isn't it?
Ever heard of the "Burkenhead Drill"? that is that time honored "women and children first" commandment given at sea (or for that matter anywhere where women and "real" men are to be found in time of peril). Think of "Tintanic" and you will get the idea. Isn't it strange how women thought it was romantic for a man to lay down His life for a woman? "Real" man? No, just a character in a story. The falily man who goes to work each day to a job He does not enjoy in order to keep You alive and educated is not a "real" man, or is He? You have to really enjoy hypocracy to play this game. Have a serious thought about "real" men and what it actually means before You have a go at them.
But enough. I (being a "real" man) must now go off to the gym to pump iron for a few hours prior to going to a striptease joint to drink beer with My mates, (all of whom are also "real" men).
Cheers.

Its because of hypocritical b*tches who want to behave like men but at the end of the day expect a man to fill his role as a man. This happens all the time in child custody cases.

Political Correctness of the 80's, ninety's and turn of the century ended the classic roles of "being a guy." we've not got muscle vehicles anymore. kit are made for women folk too. and girls desire to stroll, communicate, act, smoke, vote, carry workplace, positioned on pants, swear, even have open intercourse merely like adult adult males. So what's the variation? None. we've become a neutered intercourse society full of femi-nazi's screaming sexism to an lawyer on the hint of a sexual place/definition. adult adult males have been neutered. there is no such ingredient as a "guy." even nevertheless, adult adult males are *nonetheless* evaluated-by potential of-properly worth by potential of their occupation. Pilot sounds plenty extra prestigious than garbageman. this is the place you get the computing device stupidity of having titles like: "Sanitation Engineer" for the above garbageman. Heaven forbid your properly worth is "welfare recipient"...you're merely no longer a guy!

Because of expectations, insecurities, and quaint thinking. Duh. They don't HAVE to be anything at all, but they USUALLY collapse to peer pressure. Personally, I don't believe in the "real men" BS. That's just some "ideal" conservative/repubs from Hickville like to perpetuate. I like my guys feeling secure about themselves, sexually and otherwise.
