I've read much research that suggests that too much stress (which is common for today's youth) can be harmful. However, I'm looking for a counter point to that information. Is there a level of stress, or an occasion that stress can actually benefit children as the develop? Please try to answer with citations.

I'm crushing Bigtime on this guy, but I don't think he likes me back. He confided in another friend, and told him that we could never be together. My friend then told me what he said.

Should I forget about him?Or not give up?

Please help me, I'm so confused. When I heard the news, I immediately broke into tears..I really liked him. But what should I do, now that I know he doesn't like me back?

(This was made for a guy's point of view (which doesn't make sense because I'm a girl) but ladies please use your imagination)
You're walking with your cousin (whom your family expects you to marry to secure the family) and she keeps babbling about her obsurd hobbies. Eating dirt, scratching her body, and collecting various belly dancer outfits. (which she is sporting now, and she's not skinny) The royal prosession comes up to you and the comely, elegnant, intelligent, all around perfect Princess steps out. She's greeting her subjects, her and The King, when a thief shows up. He grabs the Princess and holds several knifes to her body. One move and he kills the only heir to the throne. Your family shows up. The thief becomes overwhelmed and captures your cousin (much to your relief, she was still yapping about her disgusting hobbies) He tells you that only YOU can chose who lives or dies.

I'm crushing bigtime on my neighbor. He knows that, but hasn't made any move so far.

Another neighbor of mine said that my crush confided in him about me. My crush said that the reason he hasn't asked me out yet is because of our age difference.

Thing is, I'm 13 and he's 16. Does it make much difference?
Even if he wants to wait, we'll still be 3 years apart, no matter what. So should I just forget him?Or give him a piece of my mind?Or what??

THE RAW CLAY

- Thoughts racing

My head fills with all sorts of thoughts; coming in and
out. Arguing between myself what to do. This happens everytime
when I am in a situation where I feel anxious and start obsessing.

- Complete Apathy

I have no regard for how others feel. If I say sorry, I say
it so I won't get hurt. When I say, "the sunset is beautiful"
or "I love you" I never mean it. The sunset is no beautiful
than a piece of cheese; nor do I love that person more than
I love a slice of camembert persay.

- Socialising draining

When I have to be in situation where I need to socialise with
others, talking to them drains the energy from me. The only time
I'm not tense is when I'm by myself or with some-one who isn't
draining (like Cameron).

- Human Contact Problem

I cannot stand human contact, whether it be some-one picking their
nose or even shaking my hand; I hate it. I feel stressed and anxious
when I am in those situations and will
