There's an old saying: you can take the ****** out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the ******.

I guess it's true, money CAN'T buy class.

Because they can. Not all people (even poor people) act like thugs because of where they're from. That is a misconception.

The things is that they're allowed to. They talk about all these fines they give them for their behavior but the truth is that a 1/4 million dollar fine is like fining an average american about $20. Could you imagine being able to do anything you wanted (cuss out your boss, take drugs, fight, etc..) and then get charged $20 for it and carry on as if nothing happened?? You'd feel like you could do whatever you wanted too!

If there are no consequences for a persons actions, then they feel as if their actions can get more and more wild. It's a normal thing for people to try to push the boundaries... their boundaries are far beyond ours.

Not that any of this is an excuse. People need to stop treating athletes like Gods and start treating them like athletes.

Yes, the same thought came to my mind when John Rocker [the baseball player from Atlanta] used the N word... sometimes you can’t take the person out of the trailer! Just like you, some will be forever embedded in ignorance.

But I guess the same aggression you can find in Hockey, but of course, they are not characterized as lower classed individuals.

Nonetheless, your question very informatively tells us what class you are affiliated with.

I agree with that! And not saying all do this but the ones who do get away with it because they can play ball. It starts off in high school and we all know it happens. They don't have to do their homework and they don't have to follow rules. It is like a genetic pass to do anything they want.

There was no proper manners taught in any form during their upbringing. They were never thaught how to handle their money, respect others, behave in public, speak correctly, etc. It is reflective in their music, their morality and their money.

True enough. You can take the b***h out of the trailer park, but you can't take the trailer park out of the b***h. You had enough for a computer at least, and a case of beer obviously; and yet here you are without that education.
