Because you are probably one yourself, and just waiting for the right time to act on it.

Because they break every rule of natural law -Multiple times. I just got over a three week period of over zealous research in that area. For the most part I think the winter blues had something to do with it. But anyway, yeah those stories are so completely outside of our rational mind sets that they just blow you away one after the other. Also I have to say if your studying crimelibrary.com and trying to find out if the all have a similarity, it's this; They all have violent fantasies as children which become sexualized when they hit puberty. After you figure that one out the only thing left to analyze is how not to be a victim. Which for me as a hetero black male in my thirties is easy, the only guy i can remember who came after my type was the Bayou killer (He killed mostly gay black men but would occassionally trick straight black men into following him home by promising them sex with his wife). However, if i get married and have kids -they'll be targets. The only way to protect them from these types is to tell women to act and move with confidence and purpose, these guys prey on seemingly vulnerable women, and as for the kids -never let them out of your sight, period.
Yeah, it's definitely an interesting subject and one that (for non-violent people) is probably smart to delve into for awhile.
Oh yeah, who wants to bet on how long before a legitimate FEMALE serial killer surfaces?

They are quite interesting. Most of them have a high I.Q. Their minds work totally different than ours and it is amazing how they think what they are doing is ok when the rest of society knows it is totally sick, twisted, and down right wrong.

Go into criminal Psychology. Perhaps you could work in this field one day and get these weirdos off the street.

I have always wanted to meet Chariles Manson. He claims he never killed anyone, but he did have others kill for him. He scares me and I would like to nit pick at his brain. Ofcourse I would never want to be alone with him.

It's an interesting topic, and there is so much we can learn from them, not just how to kill, but how to avoid being killed. I am very interested by them, their "art" is one that everyone should study at some point in their life.
