It could be that something is bothering you to the point that you can't figure it out. It could be something that you want to talk about and unable to find that special person that you can talk to. It could be that something is going to happen and you don't know what it is. It could be numerous of things. Try to enjoy the things that you have now! We all know that there is a reason that you feel like this but it is hard to put a finger on it. I wish that i knew what was bothering you because I would like to help

Ok, though this is practically impossible to be diagnosed over the internet like this, here is some information for you. In order for you to be suffering from clinical depression, it has to be long lasting, like several weeks or months, and it has to be fairly consistent. Everyone experiences a depressed state at times, it is just a fact of life, but not everyone suffers from clinical depression. If you feel that you are clinically depressed, go and see a counselor about it. It could be anything from a brain abnormality to a hormonal imbalance. It is just a matter of finding out for sure. The best advice that i can give you is to go and see a psychologist or counselor about this (please note I did not say psychiatrist). Start with either a psychologist or a licensed counselor first, then they can decide if you should go and see a psychiatrist for a more medical diagnosis. Depression is a complex issue that really must be addressed in a formal counseling setting, therefore just go and see someone about it.

You could have winter blues or Christmas blahs. This time of year people spend more time in the house than out side and we all need sunlight to help brighten our day in more ways than one. My daughter went to the doctor because she thought she was depressed. She showed all the signs except for she was happy with her life and the people in it. When the doctor fond out that she worked afternoons he told her what the problem was. She wasn't getting enough daylight. She worked 3 - 11 pm she got up between 1-2 got ready and went to work. He told her to get up earlier in the day or change her shift so he saw more sunlight. She did and a couple of weeks later she was fine. Christmas can cause stress and anxiety so really figure out what is the root of the problem before you put a label on yourself. Every thing Will be fine.

Believe it or not, depression can be caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. Sometimes you just are depressed, and there is nothing you can do to help it. Depression can also be hereditary, so if one of your family members has suffered from depression, you can be at risk. If you live a good life, then things will get back to normal in the next few weeks.

You are causing it unless your are ill,,,but if not then when you wake up in the morning you have two choices and one is to feel sorry for yourself or think of all the blessings you really have only you have this power over yourself,,,so good luck in not thinking so much about yourself and find someone to help out and it is the best medicine go to hospital and help do something as they need help or the old age homes or the health dept so many people need help or talk with your minister at your church or find a church and attend services ,,,

Maybe your hormonal levels are up and down a bit. Or maybe you aren't eating quite right. too many takeaway meals can leave you feeling listless and uninterested in your life.

I find I feel better with a Vitamin B intake when I am feeling this way, counteracts university canteen food, late nights studying and keeps me a bit more stable during the month. Not everyone needs it but quite a few I know do benefit from it.

It is found in many foods and can be taken in tablets as well.

if everything is peachy in your life and you have no stress...it could be medical. it could be something your eating. there's an ingredient in chinese food that makes some people depressed. it could also be a hormone thing. a thyroid problem perhaps. or it might not be anything at all. maybe you just need some sunshine = ) keep yourself active, exercise, read a book, go dancing, and make sure to get good sleep. happy holidays

What makes you think you are depressed? Why have you slapped that label on it??? It could be that you are disappointed in something or someone - that doesn't mean you are depressed. We are too quick to self diagnose depression - giving it more strength and credibility. Get on with your good life and focus more time on the good people in it.

Not sure, don't know enough about you to give unqualified diagnosis over the internet.

See doctor and give what ever he recommends about three months.
