I know it sounds like an obvious question, but how is it that you can tell, from the positioning of someone's eyeballs, whether they are looking directly at you or not? The difference in someone's eye position between a direct stare and an averted gaze must be very subtle. Yet we can differentiate it, even at a distance. It seems even more incredible when you consider that most people's eyeballs are almost totally obscured by their eylids and eyelashes, and the pupil is not even centrally located within the eye opening, and only a small amount of the white of the eyeball is normally visible.
It may also have something to do with the phenomenom of the Portrait's eyes which follow you around the room.
Is there any research on this topic, and in what field would it be in?

I have OCD and sometimes I get stuck on thoughts and can't get them out of my head. They can be ideas or things or even people. I have this history teacher and she is young and pretty, AND I'M NOT GAY. But for some reason I am always thinking about her. She is really cool and its like shes the kind of teacher you want to be friends with because she is so cool. I just hate how she is always on my mind. I have never told anyone about this yet and I just want to know if this is because of OCD that I can't stop thinking about her. I am straight and I like guys but why can't I stop thinking about a female teacher?

Do you have anything you wished you cleared up or apologized for? do you think you need closure before you can move on with life.

Does doing so open up another chapter of life? or open a part of yourself that was blocked because of it?

My aim is not to judge or be seen as insensitive, but why is this side of the story never shown. This is the proverbial elephant in the room. Our silence as a nation on this side of the story has led to mounds of misinformation and misunderstandings. This is more than just a choice, this is an extreme LIFE impacting decision.

She is also pregnant. I would like to know if she can take medicine while she is pregnant or does she have to wait until the baby is born? Should she go see a psychologist right away?
